Flamengo begins its journey in the 2025 Club World Cup this Monday (16), at 10 pm (Brasília time), against Espérance-TUN, at Lincoln Financial Field, located in the city of Philadelphia, in the United States. The clash marks the opening of Group D of the competition organized by FIFA.
The match will be broadcast live on TV Globo, as well as on the digital platforms Disney+, DAZN, CazéTV (YouTube) and Sportv. The refereeing trio will be Dutch, with Danny Makkelie on the whistle, assisted by Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries. The video referee will be Rob Dieperink.
The team led by Filipe Luís arrives at the tournament on the back of an eight-game unbeaten streak, having not conceded a goal in the last six when playing with the starting team. Despite the positive outlook, the coach will have important absences for the debut. Midfielder De la Cruz, injured, is out of the match, while full-back Alex Sandro is doubtful due to physical fatigue.

Real Madrid had a spectacular performance from Kylian Mbappé and thrashed Kairat, from Kazakhstan, 5-0, this Tuesday (30), in the second round of the Champions League group stage, in Almaty. The Frenchman scored a hat-trick, reaching five goals in the competition and taking over the Champions League's top scorer.
Besides the Frenchman, Camavinga and Brahim also found the net, completing the Spanish team's thrashing. With the victory, Real Madrid now has six points from two rounds , provisionally taking the lead in the group, while Kairat remains pointless and sits last.
Vini Jr. started the match as Real Madrid's Champions League captain, but had a lackluster performance and missed a clear chance in the first half. The Brazilian gave way to Rodrygo midway through the second half , while Mbappé led the attack.
The Frenchman not only scored three goals, but also produced some impressive plays, including a flick and a backheel pass that almost resulted in a goal for Vini Jr. With Tuesday's three goals, Mbappé reached the 60-goal mark in Champions League history, becoming the competition's sixth-highest scorer.
