Brazil's transfer window opens next Wednesday -Friday (10), but this does not mean that the clubs will be able to count on their respective reinforcements immediately. They may have to wait until the 17th round of the Brasileirão to promote debuts.

The CBF has standardized the registration of new athletes, starting only on July 11th (Thursday). Between the 10th and 11th the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship will take place. Therefore, reinforcements will only be able to go to the field from July 13th, when the 17th round begins. Bahia, Cuiabá, Cruzeiro and Red Bull Bragantino play on this date.

Most clubs, however, will need to wait around a week to count on their reinforcements. Six Brasileirão matches take place between the 16th and 17th of July. 

The transfer window is open until September 2nd and covers all national and international transfers to clubs in Series A and B of the Brasileirão. This is the second and final period for signing players.
