Although Zico recognized the unsatisfactory football presented by the team, he highlighted that Flamengo still remained alive in competitions. However, the fall in the Libertadores was a determining factor in the change, especially due to the defeat at home, which he compared to the elimination in 1982.

During his tenure, he managed the team in 70 games, achieving 41 wins, 13 draws and 16 defeats, with a total of 109 goals scored and 50 conceded. Tite ends his time with the Carioca Championship title and a 64.7% success rate.

Now, Flamengo returns to the field under new management. Filipe Luís, an old acquaintance of Gerson, takes interim command in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil.
