CRIA DO FLAMENGO IS NEGOTIATING A CONTRACT WITH GREAT RIVAL CARIOCA

With one week left until the end of the transfer window, Vasco da Gama negotiates the signing of Hugo Moura, a player revealed at Flamengo. Created by Ninho do Urubu, the 26-year-old midfielder is at Athletico-PR, and has ongoing talks to reinforce the Cruzmaltino club.

The information was initially published by TV Bandeirantes do Paraná, and confirmed by Venê Casagrande. Vasco da Gama has already formalized his first proposal to Athletico-PR, and offers approximately 2 million euros. Hugo Moura also received a proposal from Grêmio, rejected by the people of Paraná.

Athletico-PR has not yet responded to the attacks, and Vasco awaits a response in the coming days. In search of a midfielder, as Paulinho Paula and Jair suffered serious injuries at the beginning of the season and will be out of action for a few more months, Hugo Moura appeared as one of the options on the market. Before moving towards the former Flamengo player, Vasco da Gama had already tried Marlon Gomes, from Botafogo, and Emmanuel Martinez, formerly of América-MG and now at Fortaleza, but without success.

Volante de Containment, but with a good pass, Hugo Moura was revealed by Flamengo but played little in the red-black professional team. After loans to Coritiba and Lugano, in 2020 and 2021, the player returned to Mais Querido in 2022, but left for Athletico-PR, initially on loan.

In June of that year, the Paraná club played the clause that guaranteed the purchase of 50% of Hugo Moura's economic rights for 1.2 million euros (6.6 million reais at the time). After two seasons, the player lost space in the squad and now could be leaving for Vasco.
