According to JM Neto, the Brusque Brazilian Championship Series B team is keeping an eye on Flamengo striker Werton and plans to bring him in on loan until the end of the season. The negotiation could be a good opportunity for both the player and the clubs involved.

Werton, young promise of Flamengo, had his contract recently renewed until the end 2026. This renewal demonstrates the Rio club's confidence in the player's potential. However, competition in the Flamengo squad is intense, and the loan could offer Werton the chance to gain more playing time and experience.

WILL YOU TAKE THE PLAYER OR NOT?

Brusque, on the other hand, sees in Werton an important piece to strengthen his attack. The team is looking to improve its performance in Series B and believes that Werton's arrival can bring the necessary dynamism to achieve better results.

Negotiations are still ongoing, and both clubs are evaluating the loan conditions. If it comes to fruition, Werton's move to Brusque could be beneficial for all parties involved, offering the young striker the opportunity to stand out and contribute significantly to his new team.

Carlinhos' performance in the last classic between Flamengoand Vasco, played on Sunday, has generated a wave of criticism and questions from the red and black fans. The striker, who entered the field in the 18th minute of the second half, replacing Bruno Henrique, played a discreet role and ended up failing to help the team in one of the most decisive moments of the match.

The classic, as always, was a game intense and highly anticipated by both fans, with great weight for the championship table and the morale of the teams. However, Carlinhos' entry, which lasted just 27 minutes, was considered below expectations, especially in a scenario where Flamengo was looking for a victory to distance itself from its rivals.

FLAMENGO HAS A DEFICIENCY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP < /b>

During the 27 minutes he was on the field, Carlinhos barely appeared, failing to influence the game as expected. The player only touched the ball a few times, did not create clear scoring chances and also did not help efficiently in the defensive system. With an apathetic performance, the striker ended up becoming a target of frustration for the fans, who expected more from a player who, at other times, had already demonstrated the potential to be decisive.

The lack of offensive participation was a of the main points raised by critics. In a game that required creativity and boldness to break through the Vasco blockade, Carlinhos was unable to find spaces or impose his presence as a constant threat to the opponent's goal. In classics, where every detail makes a difference, this lack of protagonism weighed even more.

The replacement of Bruno Henrique by Carlinhoswas also a factor that generated discussion. Bruno Henrique, although he was not having a brilliant performance, is a player recognized for his ability to decide games, especially in big confrontations. His departure 18 minutes into the second half was justified by the coaching staff as part of the planning to spare the athlete, who recently returned from injury.

After taking charge of Flamengo, Tite, former coach of the Brazilian national team, made it clear that he is quickly adapting to the club's culture. In recent statements, he highlighted Rubro-Negro's striking characteristic: the incessant search for all possible titles. According to the coach, this spirit of intense competition is something that he not only admires, but is also incorporating into his own work philosophy.

Tite, known for his meticulous and results-focused work, revealed that the Transition to Flamengo involves constant learning, especially in relation to the club's winning mentality. "Flamengo has this culture of fighting for every title. There is no focus on just one competition, the goal is to win everything within reach", he explained.

THE COACH WANTS A COMPETITIVE STYLE

This characteristic is notable in Flamengoin recent years, which has won several important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Tite, accustomed to pressure and the need for results, states that this mentality is something he is adopting in his day-to-day life at the club. “I see this culture, and this is what we are doing. Flamengo has this requirement, and I am a coach who likes this type of challenge.”

Although Tite has an established career, with successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians and the Brazilian national team, Flamengo represents a new experience for the coach. He is now at the helm of a team that has traditionally had fans calling for victories in every competition they compete in, something he sees as a positive challenge.

"You have to learn every day Even with the experience I have, here I realize that there are very high expectations, but at the same time that's what makes you grow", commented the coach. For him, working at a club that maintains such a high level of demand motivates him to always seek the best.

Flamengo's youth categories continue to receive new elements. Also this Thursday (22), Mais Querido signed Rafa Couto, Brusque's jewel. At just 18 years old, born in 2005, he joins the under-20 team's squad.

The attacking midfielder was a great standout on his old team, from Santa Catarina. Brusque was recently promoted to Série B of the Brasileirão. Rafa Couto underwent an evaluation period at Ninho do Urubu in December 2023, but has only now signed his contract with the club.

The young man's contract with Mengão runs until 2025, and this is his first training contract. Before joining Brusque's youth teams, the young promise played for Figueirense, between 2017 and 2019, and for Bahia, between 2021 and 2022.

RAFA AT LIBERTADORES

It is worth remembering that Flamengo's U20 squad is qualified for the U20 Libertadores, which, in principle, starts in March this year. Rubro-Negro has never won this title, but it is certainly one of the favorites, as it won the Brasileirão in the category last year.

So far, it is known that Fla is in Group C, alongside Aucas (EQU), Defensor (URU) and Sporting Cristal (PER). Crias do Ninho's first match will be on March 4th, against Defensor. Still three days later, Mais Querido faces Aucas, and ends its participation in the group stage against Sporting Cristal, on the 10th.
