Portuguese coach Pedro Caixinha was not at all satisfied with the 1-1 draw between Red Bull Bragantino and Flamengo at Nabi Abi Chedid. The coach highlighted that he faced the most powerful team in terms of finances in Brazil, but said he expected victory at home. With the score, Rubro-Negro reached two games without losing to Bragantino.

“We are the 16th force in Brazil and today we face the 1st force. We have to value this, but we are not satisfied with little. There were situations where we could have done more and there were situations where we did a lot and wanted to maintain it. Draws are precisely useless. That's our mentality”, said Pedro Caixinha.

In the first half, defender Pedro Henrique opened the scoring for the home team. However, Tite's Flamengo adopted a different stance in the second half and pressed until reaching a draw. After a beautiful throw from De La Cruz, Bruno Henrique dominated with the tip of the boot and shot under goalkeeper Cleiton: 1-1, final score in Bragança Paulista.

“We were a very brave team in the first half and This is our philosophy. The first part was impeccable about what we planned and what was put into practice. In the second half we wanted to keep pressing, but we got worn out and lacked rhythm. We knew how to suffer and, if we couldn’t win, we can’t lose either”, concluded the Bragantino coach.
