Fluminense has a dilemma to resolve before the classic with Flamengo next Thursday Friday (17), at Maracanã, at 8pm, for the 30th round of the Brasileirão. With absences in the attack and fighting against relegation, the red-and-black rival plans to useJhon Arias two days after the athlete takes the field for the Colombian National Teamat FIFA Data. p>

Mano Menezes will not be able to count on Keno due to his suspension due to his third yellow card and Kevin Serna, who suffered muscle injury. Absence of the starter and the first option on the bench for the attacking side, which increases the importance of Jhon Arias. Even without a special schedule, the expectation is that the Colombian could even be a starter depending on when he returns to Rio de Janeiro.

Starter in Colombia, Arias will defend his team against Chile on the 15th, at 5:30 pm, in Barranquilla, just over 48 hours before Flamengo x Fluminense. The idea is for the athlete to return the day before the classic, Wednesday, and not even take part in the training to preserve the physical part.

Arias is Fluminense's top scorer this season, with 12 goals, and his seven passes on goal place him as the second with the most assists. Numbers that explain the importance given to his presence in the classic, even more so with absences and the scenario in the table.

O Fluminense is 16th in the Brasileirão and has a point advantage over Vitória (17th) and Corinthians (18th). A defeat for Mengão, therefore, could mean a return for Z4.

Mano Menezes has more doubts about setting up the starting team

Marcelo is the third absence already confirmed in Fluminense , as it is suspended due to accumulation of yellows. But the list of absences could get even longer, as the team races to recover Nonato and Thiago Silva in time to face Flamengo.

The middle -fielder suffered a nose injury and was absent from the team in the last three games. The defender is recovering from a problem with his left heel. He played in the sacrifice in the tricolor elimination game in the Libertadores and was left out of the next two matches. There is an expectation of a comeback against Fla.

Mano Menezes, on the other hand, has three returns already guaranteed: Germán Cano, Diogo Barbosa and Ignácio. It is also worth mentioning that midfielder Bernal was called up for Uruguay, but, unlike Arias, he is not used much in the national team and does not inspire major concerns in Fluminense.

Summoned players must miss Flamengo in the classic

If Fluminense cares about an important player called up, Flamengo had seven. However, Mengão will hardly force players to take the field at Data Fifa, as they will have a semi-final of the Copa do Brasil to play at the weekend. Thus, the tendency is for Filipe Luís to field a modified team.

The summoned from Flamengo are: Gerson and Fabrício Bruno (Brazil); Pulgar (Chile); Plata (Ecuador); Arrascaeta, De La Cruz and Varela (Uruguay). As the last FIFA Data game is on the 15th of October, the classic against Fluminense is on the 17th and the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil with Corinthians on the 20th, the selected players who take the field are unlikely to play in the classic.

Remember that the semi changed its date precisely because of FIFA Data, in addition to the wear and tear of the game and the trip. Plata, Arrascaeta, De La Cruz and Varela will leave Montevideo on the night of the 15th, while Pulgar will play in Colombia and Gerson and Fabrício Bruno in Brasília.

In attack, Colombian Edwuin Cetré, 27, is also out. He suffered a grade 1 muscle injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg and will not play at the Maracanã . However, he is expected to recover for the return leg, scheduled for September 25th in La Plata.
