Since arriving in Chinese football, seven years ago, the athlete has only played for this team in Asian football, after leaving Chelsea (ING).
In an interview with Placar magazine in October 2023, Oscar revealed the three Brazilian teams he has some affection for. One of those mentioned was Flamengo himself, as well as Inter and São Paulo.
“I watch Brazilian football a lot, I love football and I love watching ours. There are teams that I have enormous affection for, like Inter, São Paulo. Flamengo too, because I have friends who play there“, revealed the player.

On Saturday night (09), Flamengo beat Mirassol 2-1 , in the 19th round of the Brasileirão. Léo Pereira and Gonzalo Plata scored the goals that guaranteed three fundamental points to keep Rubro-Negro in the lead.

Coach Filipe Luís had a special birthday this Saturday (09). On the day he turned 40, the coach saw Flamengo reach the mark of 101 goals under his command . The feat occurred at Maracanã, during the 2-1 victory over Mirassol , in the 19th round of the Brasileirão.
The 100th goal came on a precise header from Léo Pereira , following a move initiated by Arrascaeta and a perfect cross from Samuel Lino from the left. Shortly after, the 101st goal came again from the left: Arrascaeta hit a trivela to Gonzalo Plata, who finished to extend the red-and-black lead.
The match also marked Filipe Luís's 60th game as Flamengo 's manager. The former full-back took over in October 2024, following Tite's departure, leaving the club's youth academy to manage the first team . The coach is aiming to become the first to complete a full season at Mengão since Vanderlei Luxemburgo in 2014.
Flamengo returns to the field next Sunday (August 17) to face Internacional , in the 20th round of the Brazilian Championship. The match will be played at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Beira-Rio, in Porto Alegre, with the aim of maintaining the leadership of the competition.
Before facing Internacional in the Brasileirão, Flamengo will have to face the same opponent, but in another competition: the Copa Libertadores da América .
