Flamenguista Day may not be a national holiday, but it is certainly celebrated by Flamengo fans in the same way, with great pride. It is already a tradition at the club to celebrate a mass on this day, in the chapel of São Judas Tadeu, at Flamengo's headquarters.

The European transfer window has been closed since early August, but Flamengo almost saw another former player play in the Premier League . Manchester United made an official offer for goalkeeper Kauã Santos , but it was unsuccessful.
According to the German newspaper Bild Sport, the English club was turned down by Eintracht Frankfurt , who set a price of 25 million euros (approximately R$156.3 million) to release the player .
