Flamengo was very active at the end of the signing window. In recent weeks, Mais Querido announced the signings of striker Michael, left-back Alex Sandro and midfielder Carlos Alcaraz. The club also already has a deal for the Ecuadorian winger Gonzalo Plata, who is in Qatar football and could be announced at any time.
With this, Mengão ended its participation as a buyer in the football market, but, according to the football director, Bruno Spindel, Flamengo can still act as a seller in the last days of the window. Spindel revealed that, on the trip that the red and black directors took in Europe, contacts were made by clubs abroad to negotiate players from the current Mais Querido squad.
“Initially, the trip was just to signings, but they opened some doors and it could be that a transfer or another (exit) will occur during this window. One or two players may leave. I'm just not going to reveal names”, Bruno Spindel told journalists present at the airport to accompany the arrival of Carlos Alcaraz.
Despite the window for the main European football markets closing this Saturday (31), the director highlighted that other countries still keep the window open for longer, beyond the 2nd, as is the case in Brazil. “If I'm not mistaken, there are Qatar, Turkey, Russia and some other markets that remain open after the 2nd”, he concluded.
So far, only Victor Hugo, who was included in the negotiation by Alcaraz, from the red-black main team left the club this summer. Mais Querido had advanced negotiations to sell right-back Wesley to Atalanta, but the talks stalled and the player remains at Mengão. Fabrício Bruno also aroused interest from European football clubs, however, the defender did not accept an offer from West Ham and Rennes, from France, did not send a proposal despite having contacted Flamengo to understand the defender's situation.< /p>
The player is a product of Mengão's youth academy and is Galo's new signing for the 2025 season after a disappointing stint at Real Madrid.

Atlético-MG made official this Friday (08) the signing of midfielder Reinier , revealed by Flamengo. The 23-year-old player signed a contract valid until December 31, 2029. According to journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira, Mengão consulted the player's representatives, but considered the amounts requested too high for the moment.

Reinier rose to prominence in Brazilian football after being promoted to the professional team in 2019 under Jorge Jesus. That year, he was part of the squads that won the Brasileirão and Libertadores . For Flamengo , the midfielder made 15 appearances, scoring six goals and contributing two assists.
After excelling at Flamengo, he was sold to Real Madrid (ESP), but failed to make the first team. He played on loan at Borussia Dortmund (GER), Girona (ESP), and Frosinone (ITA) before returning to Brazil to play for Atlético-MG.
While Reinier reinforces Galo, Flamengo remains focused on the Brasileirão . This Saturday (09), the team faces Mirassol, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, for the 18th round. The broadcast will be exclusive to Premiere, via pay-per-view.
