The Brazilian National Team's first training session for the final round of the World Cup Qualifiers took place this Saturday (6), in Teresópolis, in cold temperatures of 16°C, rain and even fog. Coach Carlo Ancelotti made important changes, including the presence of Lucas Paquetá and Fabrício Bruno , both revealed by Flamengo, in the starting lineup.
The activity took place on a reduced field and without goalkeepers, with the focus already on the match against Bolivia, at the altitude of El Alto, a city located 4,100 meters above sea level . This will be the Italian coach's first time leading a team in such conditions.
During the training session, Ancelotti fielded the team with: Wesley, Gabriel Magalhães, Fabrício Bruno, and Caio Henrique; Bruno Guimarães, Jean Lucas, Andrey Santos, and Lucas Paquetá; Raphinha and Richarlison . During training, the coach also made changes, such as the introduction of Vitinho in Wesley's place.
With the national team already qualified for the World Cup, the Italian coach will be observing the final two rounds. Even so, Ancelotti assured that the group is focused on beating the Bolivians , maintaining the goal of preparing the players for the World Cup.
A definite absence for Brazil is Casemiro. Suspended for his third yellow card, received in the 3-0 victory over Chile, the midfielder was released from training camp and will not participate in training at Granja Comary.
Playing in the second half against Chile, Paquetá scored in less than a minute , helped control the match, and directly contributed to the third goal. The performance made a great impression on Ancelotti, who praised the midfielder's versatility.
"Obviously, Paquetá, because of his quality, needs to be here. He can play in different ways. Yesterday he played as a wide midfielder , but he wouldn't have a problem playing as a second midfielder or even as a first, because he has great ball handling skills," the coach highlighted.
The striker was targeted by Italian and English clubs during the transfer window, and the Cottagers made an important decision about the former Flamengo player.

After a busy transfer window in which they managed to retain one of their top players, Fulham is preparing a reward for Rodrigo Muniz, a striker who emerged from Flamengo. The player is expected to receive a contract extension with a significant salary increase .
The decision by the board and coach Marco Silva is strategic: to protect the 24-year-old athlete after rejecting offers, including one from Atalanta , who will compete in the Champions League. According to the British website Give Me Sport (GMS), the Italian club showed strong interest, but the offer did not reach the asking price of £43 million (R$312.5 million), stipulated by the Londoners.

A Rio de Janeiro champion with Flamengo in 2017, coach Zé Ricardo may be close to returning to the South American stage. 2002 World Cup winner Rivaldo approved of how Xabi Alonso has handled his relationship with Vini Jr. at Real Madrid. In an interview with Betfair, the former player commented on the Spanish coach's decision to leave the Flamengo-born striker on the bench for the second round of La Liga against Real Oviedo .
