This Sunday (17), Gabigol was seen enjoying his vacation during Thiaguinho's show. The pagode singer was performing at the Neo Química Arena, home of Corinthians, when he had a 'conversation' with the Flamengo player about his favorite team, Timão himself, and the rumors that the red-black number 10 could be your next hire.
"Beautiful tribute, Gabriel Barbosa", said the Corinthian singer, citing the fact that the athlete was wearing the artist's shirt. "I want to wear your (shirt) too. I'll charge for it! I already have the other one", joked the singer, making reference to the fact that he already has a Sacred Mantle from the star, but wants a shirt with his name, but with the Corinthians coat of arms.
Gabigol has a contract with Flamengo until 2024 and has not yet reached an agreement for a renewal. Without talking about the future, in an interview with the Podpah podcast, the red-and-black number 10 was full of praise for Timão fans.
“I respect all teams. I've already said this in interviews, that I think the Corinthians fans are really cool. The guys sing for 90 minutes. The game against Bahia, the guys were there singing in the rain and that's really cool.
Furthermore, Gabigol admitted that his style of being and playing would suit Corinthians and that could create rapid identification. “I really think it would suit, for the crowd, for the team, favela... I think the scenario is f***.”
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago rumors circulated that Gabriel was leaving Flamengo , bound for Corinthians. However, at the moment, what seems most likely is that Mais Querido will make an exchange with the São Paulo club, giving up Thiago Maia.

So far, Flamengo confirmed just one signing for the season 2025: striker Juninho, ex-Qarabag (AZE). This Thursday (16), the player had his name published in the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) , which makes him eligible to debut for the club.
However, Juninho will still not be available for Flamengo's next matches against Madureira , São Paulo (FC Series friendly) and Nova Iguaçu. This is because he will await the return of the red and black delegation, which is in pre-season in the United States, tointegrate with the main squad. Until then, the striker will continue training at CT Ninho do Urubu to maintain his physical shape.
DEBUT PREVIEW
Juninho must be prepared to debut in the game against Volta Round, scheduled for January 25th, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília. This match will be the professional team's debut in the Campeonato Carioca.
CARIOCA REGULATION
The Campeonato Carioca regulations require players to be registered up to five days before taking the field. This way, Flamengo will not face difficulties in counting on Juninho in the match against Volta Redonda, as the clash will only take place on January 25th.
THE NEGOTIATION
Juninho's signing was completed after Flamengo offer 5 million euros (around R$ 31.2 million) to Qarabag. After increasing the initial proposal, the Azerbaijani club accepted the offer. Payment will be made in installments, in three installments.

O Clube de Regatas do Flamengo recently announced that is implementing a broad restructuring of its youth categories. The objective is to further consolidate the club's tradition as one of the greatest creators of talent in Brazilian football, maintaining the legacy of the Rubro-Negro DNA.
PHILOSOPHY AND GAME STANDARDIZATION
One of the main goals of this reformulation is to bring the structure of the youth categories closer to the working model of professional football. The club seeks to ensure vertical integration, which allows for greater uniformity in the development of athletes from the initial categories to the transition to the main squad.
To make this plan viable, the CRF is also implementing modern practices, inspired by the best clubs in the world. The idea is to optimize internal processes, improve technical functions and ensure that the youth squads are aligned with the standards of excellence that guide the club.
FOCUS ON TALENT TRAINING
Historically recognized for revealing great names for national and international football, Mengão wishes to further strengthen this characteristic. With this reformulation, greater efficiency in the training of athletes is expected, promoting opportunities for young promises to be able to shine at a high level.
