Outside of coach Filipe Luís ' plans, Pablo seems to be unhappy with the moment he is experiencing at Flamengo. In his latest post on his personal Instagram account, the 33-year-old defender made a point of recalling important achievements in his career. The video features images of titles won by Corinthians, Flamengo and Botafogo, accompanied by a direct caption: "You can criticize me, but you can't criticize my results."
The post immediately sparked a backlash among fans. Some saw the move as an attempt to boost their personal potential, while others saw it as a response to the period in which the defender has been left out of the spotlight at Rubro-Negro. Pablo arrived at Flamengo in early 2022, signed from Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia for 2.5 million euros.
At the time, he was considered an experienced and physically strong player for the defense, but he never managed to establish himself as a regular starter. During the victorious campaigns of the 2022 Copa do Brasil and Libertadores, the defender played a supporting role, accumulating discreet performances and without much prominence. Even so, he remained in the squad in 2023, but with few minutes on the field.
In an attempt to gain rhythm and space, Pablo was loaned to Botafogo in early 2024. The idea was simple: to give the defender continuity at a club where he could have more opportunities. However, his performance did not live up to expectations. With performances below expectations and unable to establish himself in the starting lineup, the defender returned to Flamengo in early 2025, but found an even more complicated scenario in which to find space.
With the arrival of reinforcements and the rise of other names in the red-black defense, such as Danilo, Léo Pereira and Léo Ortiz, Pablo fell behind in the defense hierarchy. Out of the list of players involved in several matches and with no prospect of playing minutes, the defender is living a period of ostracism. The recent publication reinforces the player's dissatisfaction with this situation and reignites discussions about whether he will remain at the club until the end of his contract.
The coach of the São Paulo team spoke about the athlete's physical condition; the match between the teams will be on July 16, at Vila Belmiro

After Santos confirmed Vila Belmiro for the match against Flamengo , it was coach Cléber Xavier's turn to confirm Neymar's presence for the game, valid for the 14th round of the Brasileirão. According to the coach, the player is now fit to play for 90 minutes.
Cléber Xavier talks about Neymar: "We did 14 training sessions, he participated in all of them, very well".
He continued: "Before the break, he helped in the last few games, developing with little playing time. In the last one he played more against Botafogo, unfortunately he ended up being sent off. Now against Flamengo he should play the 90 minutes with ease because of how he has been evolving in his day-to-day work ", said Cléber to Rádio Guaíba.
Thus, Santos and Flamengo will only face each other on July 16, when Mais Querido visits the São Paulo team at Vila Belmiro, for the match valid for the 14th round of the Brazilian Championship, at 8 pm.
Before thinking about Santos, Flamengo is preparing to face São Paulo . The Mais Querido will face the São Paulo team on the 12th, at Maracanã, in a match that marks the return of the Brazilian Championship after the Club World Cup. The game will be at 4:30 pm, at Maracanã.
