Revealed by Flamengo, the goalkeeper Hugo Souza, also known as “Neneca”, spoke out on his social networks after the end of the European season. In a year of great performances with the Chaves shirt, the goalkeeper wrote a farewell message, which indicates a possible return to Mais Querido.
The 25-year-old archer is on loan to Chaves until the end of June this year, and, it seems, will not remain in the second division next season. It is worth remembering that Hugo Souza has a contract with Flamengo until the end of 2025, and his next step has not yet been defined.
“Video of a little of what this season was like . It has come to an end and now it is time to breathe a little, cool down and let God decide the future. It was a season of a lot of learning, a season that often didn't go the way I wanted, but at the same time, in some moments it was much more than I thought it could be”, wrote Hugo Souza.
Neneca also expressed her gratitude to Chaves and their fans: “I am grateful to Chaves for the opportunity to defend their shirt, to the fans for all their support throughout the season, here's my thanks to everyone. It wasn't what we wanted, but it was a learning experience that I will take with me for the rest of my life and that certainly made me a better athlete and a better man.”

Ticket sales for the first leg of the CONMEBOL Libertadores quarter-finals, between Flamengo and opponent still to come to be defined, starts this Monday (9), at 10am. The game will be held on September 19th, at 7pm, at Maracanã. Nação fan members will have priority to purchase through the official website (flamengo.superingresso.com.br).
For the match, all fans who buy tickets online, in any sector of the stadium, will need to use registered facial biometrics to access Maracanã. No other means of access will be permitted for tickets purchased digitally. In addition, fans must have their original documents with photo upon entry.
Access to the stadium's security perimeter will be controlled by a dynamic QR code generated by the application Fla Tickets. Access to the interior of Maracanã will be done through facial biometrics.

With a sincere and reflective tone, Hugo shared how this turn of events impacted his life and made him reflect on the choices and responsibilities that accompany success.
Right at the beginning of the conversation, Hugorevealed what it was like to receive a gift so valuable coming from a humble family. "It was a gift. I came from a family with nothing, and overnight we managed to have something, okay? And then when that happens, it's difficult for you to change the key", he explained. FLAMENGO HAS A DECISION POINT
Hugo highlighted the lack of instruction and preparation to deal with with the new phase of your life. "I didn't have any instructions to create security at that moment, I just wanted to live the dream. Suddenly my life changed. Reflection on the impact of fame and money was also a central point of the interview. Hugo admitted that he got carried away and that his focus on football suffered. "But I think I failed to understand that I only had that because I was focused on football. If I lost that focus I would lose things", he confessed. The ease and the feeling of momentary power led to mistakes typical of youth, as he himself admits: "Did I make a mistake? Of course, I was a 20-year-old kid."
