The idea for Arraial da Pocah came from an organic conversation with fans on social media. Pocah always held São João parties at home or rented spaces to celebrate with friends and family. This motivated her to create the event for the public.
According to Pocah, the event will be a traditional festival, but with a mix of funk, his trademark, for everyone to dance to. "I created the repertoire based on the songs I discovered through my father, who is from Paraíba. He introduced me to a lot of northeastern music, so there's a lot of forró, which I grew up listening to, and which is part of my life to this day", explained the singer.
