MC Marcinho was one of the pioneers of Brazilian funk. The singer died last Saturday (26), aged 45, in Rio de Janeiro. In mourning, family members, friends and fans of the funk artist gathered at Cemitério da Penitência this Sunday morning (27) to say goodbye to Marcinho. The wake, open to the public, takes place between 10 am and 1 pm (Brasília time). From 2 pm, when the singer will be cremated, the ceremony will be private for family and friends.
On Saturday (26), the Copa D' Hospital or, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, confirmed the singer's death: "Hospital Copa D'Or regretfully confirms the death of patient Marcio André Nepomuceno Garcia this Saturday morning, at 9:10 am, due to multiple organ failure. The hospital sympathizes with the family and friends for this irreparable loss".
On June 27, the singer suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the Copa D Hospital 'Or. Even with medical care, there was an increase in the severity of her heart disease. Because of this, on July 13, MC Marcinho had an artificial heart implanted. At this point, the funk singer had already been breathing with the help of devices for a month. The singer entered the waiting list for a heart transplant, but his condition worsened before he was able to perform the procedure, becoming a victim of multiple organ failure.
A native of Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, the singer made history in the Brazilian funk scene. In 1997, he started his career by signing with DJ Marlboro's label, starting to create his brand in funk melody, which features a slower beat and romantic lyrics. His biggest hit was "Glamurosa", a 2002 hit that reached millions of Brazilians.
Several celebrities, both in the funk area and outside, mourned the singer's death. In addition, the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro, expressed his regret, stating that the funk artist "brought to life several stages of many people's lives with his songs, was an inspiration for other funk artists, opened doors, spread his joy and led to favela culture to the world".

The protagonists of the Netflix series Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton are in Rio de Janeiro. The duo came to Brazil to promote the series and took several tours of the Marvelous City, this past Sunday (19).
The actors boasted several of the delicious clichés of foreign personalities in the country: they drank caipirinha, posed with the Brazilian National Team shirt and with the Sacred Mantle, from Flamengo. In addition, they also posed on Copacabana Beach.
Nicola and Luke also visited Galeto Sat's, a traditional bar in the south zone, which became news after Chico Moedas' betrayal of Luísa Sonza, which allegedly happened in the bathroom location.
In the series, Luke and Nicola play Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, a couple who are nicknamed PoLin by fans. They are in the third season of the production, which has been on air since the 16th.

Former Flamengo goalkeeper Julio Cesar declared himself to his family last Sunday night (19), after resuming his marriage with actress and businesswoman Susana Werner. The former player shared a photo of his wife with their two children, Cauet and Giulia and her father Avelino Werner.
"Family," wrote Julio Cesar when sharing the click from the meeting, in which he does not appear. Julio and Susana, who have been married since 2002, announced their separation in November, but recently, their reconciliation was revealed.

Singer MC Daniel seems to be getting to know businesswoman Lorena Maria better. The funk singer published on his Instagram, this Sunday (19), a video in which he appears alongside her for the first time.
The couple was in a van side by side returning from the singer's show in Hortolândia, in interior of São Paulo, last Saturday (18). At the time, they were listening to the song Coração de Mãe/ Só por Hoje, by Gaab and MC Hariel in the vehicle.
AFFAIR CONFIRMATIONTo the LeoDias portal , MC Daniel confirmed the affair with Lorena: "Yes, it's true. She's a fantastic girl, black, who left the favela, who's a businesswoman, who's a model, an actress... I admire her so much, she's very strong. My My dream is to date (...) She's 'posed'", he joked about her serious posture.
According to MC Daniel's neighbors, Lorena started to be seen in the condominium more frequently for about a month ago, but followers and fans say the romance began longer ago. Even though Daniel has already shown Lorena on recordings and she has posted in cities where he performed, the couple has not yet published anything about their relationship status.
VINI JR'S AFFAIRLorena has not had any relationship since breaking up with Romaní, an actor she dated in 2023. In 2021, she was identified as having an affair with ex-Flamengo player Vinícius Júnior, after several interactions with him on social media, and having been seen with him at some events in Brazil.
