After a period away from the main squad, young Lorran was once again included in Flamengo's squad and was on the bench in the classic against Botafogo, this Sunday (18), for the Brasileirão . Filipe also made it clear that he sees Lorran as an attacking midfielder, a position in which the club is looking for reinforcements in the market. For the coach, the youngster could become a natural replacement for Arrascaeta , but this will depend exclusively on his performance on the field.
“It depends on him. The players have to speak on the field. It doesn’t matter what their name, salary, age are... For me, it’s about the field. If he’s doing great in the under-20s, I want to put him in. If he’s not doing well, he won’t play. Arrascaeta was already on the bench with me this year, Pedro was already on the bench, Bruno Henrique too .”
With absences in the midfield sector, Lorran could gain minutes in next Wednesday's (21) match against Botafogo-PB , for the Copa do Brasil . Flamengo won the first leg 1-0 and needs a draw at Maracanã to advance.

According to information from the ge portal, the tendency is for Rubro-Negro to enter the field with Rossi; Varela, Danilo, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas; Saúl (or De La Cruz), Jorginho and Arrascaeta; Plata (or Carrascal), Samuel Lino (or Everton Cebolinha) and Pedro.
