END OF THE THIRD ROUND OF LIBERTADORES! CHECK OUT RESULTS BEYOND FLAMENGO'S DEFEAT

Last Thursday night (25), the third round of the group stage of the Copa Libertadores da América came to an end, with important matches, many of them involving Brazilians. Participate in Libertadoresthis year the following clubs from Brazil: Fluminense, Palmeiras, São Paulo, Grêmio, Atlético-MG, Flamengo and Botafogo. In Chile, Palestino (CHI), who were humiliated at home in the first round, beat Millonarios (COL), 3-1. Fluminense finished 0-0, and São Paulo won as a visitor.

In Group A, Fluminense is the leader of the group, despite having only drawn with Cerro Porteño in Asunción. Colo-Colo is in second place, with Ciclón in third and Alianza Lima is at the bottom. In Group B, São Paulo ends the round with six points, four ahead of third-placed Barcelona Guayaquil. The group leader is Talleres, with seven points.

In Group C, Grêmio remains in last place, despite the victory over Estudiantes in La Plata. However, only one point separates Tricolor from The Strongest, second placed. In Group D, Botafogo is in the same situation as Grêmio, being at the bottom of the group, with three points. The leader is Junior Barranquilla, with five, followed by LDU and Universitario, with four.

In Group E, Flamengois in second place, with four points. The defeat in La Paz left Bolívar five points in the lead. Palestino is in third, with three, and Millonarios is in last place, with one. In Group F, Palmeiras is the isolated leader, with seven points, three ahead of Independiente del Valle and Nacional-URU, who come next. San Lorenzo is bottom, with one point.

In Group G, Atlético-MG is the only Brazilian team with 100% success, being five points ahead of Rosario Central, second placed. Peñarol has three points and is in third, and Caracas is at the bottom.
