After three months, Arrascaeta managed to score goals in two consecutive games. The star was responsible for the only time that Flamengo found the back of the opponent's net on Saturday night (11), against Fluminense. The classic match, valid for the 34th round of the Brazilian Championship, ended in a draw (1-1), but the Uruguayan, at least, left a little happier.

In Mais Querido's last match, Arrascaeta also scored a goal. The 3-0 victory over Palmeiras this Wednesday (08) had two goals from Pedro (one in the 18th minute and another in the 64th minute), while grindo helped with the second in the 29th minute of the first half.

The last time Arrasca scored in two consecutive games wearing the Sacred Mantle, this season, was in August. At the time, on the 16th, number 14 scored against Grêmio in the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil. Then, the midfielder returned to bring joy to the Nation in the following match, against Coritiba, in the 20th round of the Brasileirão.

This 2023 season was below expectations not only for the team, as a all over, but also to Arrascaeta. The star had to deal with some periods injured and has played 49 games this year. He scored ten goals and provided 11 assists to his teammates, also totaling 21 shots.

Flamengo will only play again on November 23rd, after 11 days without official matches due to DATA FIFA, when they face Bragantino. This appointment is a rescheduling of the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship and will take place at Maracanã at 9:30 pm (Brasília time).

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
