Flamengo fans gave yet another demonstration of passion in the Northeast . In the early hours of Thursday (2), hundreds of red-black fans welcomed the delegation in São Luís with a party, even though the arrival took place around 1 am , on the Labor Day holiday.
The flight with the delegation left Rio de Janeiro at 9:25 p.m. and landed in the capital of Maranhão about four hours later . The movement of fans began at the airport and intensified at the hotel door, where the players arrived at 2:15 a.m.

The investigation began in November 2023, when Bruno Henrique received a yellow card and, later, a red card in Flamengo 's match against Santos . Three bookmakers registered suspicious activity linked to the possibility of the player being cautioned.
Conversations extracted from the attacker's cell phone, in which he and his brother Wander discuss the possibility of receiving a card, became key pieces of evidence in the case . The case, which had been stalled, resumed progress in 2025.
On August 12, a petition called for Bruno Henrique and his brother to be charged with alleged fraud , in addition to fraud. Judge Fernando Brandini Barbagalo, however, upheld the decision not to arrest them, stating that there was no risk of flight.
If convicted, the brothers could face sentences of two to six years in prison, plus a fine. While the case continues, Bruno Henrique remains at Filipe Luís's disposal . If convicted, the striker could be suspended from football for up to two years.

The battle for the most prestigious spot at the Sacred Mantle is between two sports betting giants: Superbet and Betano . The former already has its brand on the uniforms of São Paulo and Fluminense; the latter is a sponsor of the Copa do Brasil and the Campeonato Brasileiro , reinforcing its market share.
According to Poder360, the Flamengo board is seeking not only the highest financial value but also a solid partner with a positive image who prioritizes Flamengo in its marketing and expansion plans. The goal is to establish a strategic, stable, and long-term partnership. 7k Bet expressed interest but withdrew from the competition.
The previous contract with Pixbet provided for R$105 million in the first year, R$115 million in the second, and R$125 million in the third, plus bonuses.
