The time has come for the big decision of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. After beating Corinthians in the semifinal, Flamengo Women takes to the field to face Botafogo this Monday (8), at 9 pm, at the Luso Brasileiro Stadium . The match will have free entry and will be broadcast by SporTV and TV Brasil.
With the best record in the competition, with nine wins, one draw, 48 goals scored, and only one conceded , the Rubro-Negro team arrives at the final with momentum and confidence. Fans will be allowed to enter through the stadium's main entrance. This will be the second consecutive final between these rivals; in 2024, the title went to Mengão after a historic 7-0 rout.
One of coach Filipe Torres's strengths is striker Brendha, the team's top scorer in the decisive stage. She scored in three of the four knockout matches and is a key player for tonight's match.
" We had a great week and we're ready. I'm sure the game will be decided by the details, so we need to impose our style from the start. Playing in a final with the Manto Sagrado is a privilege for our team, and we want to win the title once again," said the forward.

Defender revealed in Mais Querido is enjoying a great phase in Europe, arrives at the National Team under Carlo Ancelotti and attracts interest from international clubs

Alexsandro Ribeiro is one of the new additions to the Brazilian national team called up by Carlo Ancelotti. The 26-year-old defender, a Flamengo youth product, made his debut in June and started in his first two matches with the national team.
Currently playing for Lille in France, the defender is enjoying one of the best moments of his career, after facing difficulties at the beginning of his professional career. In an exclusive interview with 365Scores, held at Granja Comary in Teresópolis, Alexsandro revealed that he almost gave up football after leaving Flamengo as a teenager.
" I played for Flamengo, and when the decision to leave came, I never imagined it would be so difficult for a 16- or 17-year-old. It was the hardest time of my life, spending a year and a half without a club, going through tryouts and trials. Many times, I returned to Rio with an empty suitcase, without hope, wanting to stop playing ," the player said.
In addition to reaching the round of 16 of the 2024/25 Champions League , the defender was also the target of a bid from Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr in the last transfer window. The deal, however, fell through due to a decision by Lille's board, which opted to keep him on the squad.
" The only offer I received was from Al-Nassr, but the president wouldn't let me go and said he needed me for this year . I spoke to him and made it clear that I didn't want to leave, but I also didn't want to stay; it would depend on him. I wasn't going to fight him because I'm grateful to him and for the opportunity he gave me. It was calm, so to speak, because we know that Saudi Arabia is a very tempting offer," Alexsandro stated.
The striker arrived at the team with high expectations, but has been getting few opportunities on the field and intends to define his next steps only in 2026.

Seeking space in attack, Gabigol, formerly of Flamengo , is experiencing a moment of frustration at Cruzeiro. The number 9 has received few opportunities since joining the Minas Gerais team , accumulating limited minutes under coach Leonardo Jardim.
Despite his dissatisfaction, the striker has no plans to leave Toca da Raposa at this time. According to information released by Bolavip, the player intends to stay until the end of the season , when he will reassess his future in Brazilian football.
Gabigol 's arrival at Cruzeiro generated significant attention, particularly due to his winning record at the club, where he established himself as an idol and multiple champion. Expectations were high that the striker would become a key player in the Cruzeiro squad.
However, the reality has been different. Despite his impressive performance at Mineirão and being among the highest-paid players in the group , the striker hasn't earned a starting spot and has been used only as an option on the bench.
While Gabigol seeks to establish himself at Cruzeiro, Flamengo continues its preparation for the rest of the season. After the break for the FIFA Date, the technical committee led by Filipe Luís works behind the scenes aiming at the match against Juventude , next Sunday (14), at 4 pm, at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, for the Brazilian Championship.
