This Saturday morning (6), former player Neto and Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli will meet with children up to 12 years old at the Rocinha Sports Complex. The event called Copa Sampaoli, is in partnership with the Sports Superintendency of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Suderj). The competition will host ten teams competing for trophies and medals for the two best placed teams.
“It is a joy to help children dream about football. I experienced this feeling when I played in my neighborhood, as a child, and I know the importance of never stopping believing in our dreams. I hope these children can have a special day and enjoy all the sensation that sport can provide”, explained Sampaoli, who invited Neto and promised to withdraw the action he is taking against the former player in the São Paulo Court.
