Flamengo is preparing to compete in the U20 Intercontinental Cup, Category World Cup. For the decisive game this Saturday (24) at 16:00 (Brasília time) at Maracanã, against Olympiacos, from Greece, coach Filipe Luís defined the list of participants for the match at Maracanã.
SEE LIST
Goalkeepers: Dyogo Alves, Lucas Furtado and Caio Barone;
Defenders: Iago, Carbone, Da Mata and João Victor;
Right sides: Daniel Sales, Gusttavo and Lucyan;
Left sides: Zé Welinton;
Midfielders: João Alves, Jean Carlos, Rayan Lucas, Caio Garcia and Lorran;< /p>
Forwards: Adriel, Matheus Gonçalves, Shola, Wallace Yan, Victor Silva and Felipe Teresa.
Lorran, Shola and Matheus Gonçalves are already integrated into the professional squad, but as they are still old enough to play in the under-20s, they will reinforce the red and black team that will face the current UEFA Youth League champion this Saturday. Lorran's participation, however, is still uncertain. The player, who recently had his contract renewed, will be involved in the clash with Bolívar in the Libertadores and will go to Bolivia, which will reduce his rest and training time with the rest of the group led by Filipe Luís.
< It is not the first time that Matheus and Lorran have returned to the under-20s this season. Matheus Gonçalves has already played in three Brasileirão matches and scored three goals. After being featured in the Libertadores U20 title, Lorran had a meteoric rise during the Copa América period, where the main players were defending their teams. However, his production fell in the main team and, to take him out of the spotlight, the red-and-black preferred that the player return to the category below to maintain the pace of the game. Recently promoted, Nigerian Shola has not yet had an opportunity among the professionals.
Flamengo and Olympiacos will be broadcast on FlaTV+ and SporTV. For subscribers of the Globoplay service, both exhibitions will be available via streaming. There are still tickets for this Saturday's match, but a good crowd is expected at Maracanã.
