Flamengo's Deliberative Council will hold an extraordinary session this Tuesday (19) to deliberate on two central agendas: the approval of the contract with Betano, which should assume the club's master sponsorship , and a proposal to change the Social Statute aimed at combating racism and discrimination.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, in person in the Salão Nobre at Gávea headquarters, and also online. The first meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM , and the second, final meeting, is scheduled for 7 PM (Brasília time).
The agreement includes displaying the brand on the main jerseys of the men's and women's professional soccer teams, as well as Flamengo 's men's basketball team. The sponsor's name will also be printed on the athletes' travel uniforms and on the lower back of the women's volleyball team's uniform.
Another relevant issue is the proposed amendment to Flamengo 's Statute, which includes measures to prevent, raise awareness and punish acts of racism and prejudice committed by members, directors, athletes, employees or service providers.
Penalties include a suspension of up to 365 days , exclusion from membership, dismissal for cause, and contract termination. The initiative reinforces the club's commitment to promoting respect, inclusion, and equality.
The vote will be held in a hybrid format, with a platform that allows council members to follow the session and vote securely remotely. In addition to the two main agenda items, the meeting will also include approval of the previous minutes and a space for general matters , consolidating a moment of institutional relevance both on and off the field.

Maracanã will be the stage for the duel between Flamengo and Barcelona (ESP), this Saturday (23), for the final of the U-20 Club World Cup. So far, 23,055 tickets have been sold, a number considered good for a game in this category , but below the expectations of the red-black fans.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande , the initial available number is 37,844 tickets. If sold out, new tickets will be released. Demand is expected to increase from Thursday (21) , with the expectation of a large crowd at the stadium to support the Garotos do Ninho , who are seeking their second intercontinental championship — the club beat Olympiacos (GRE) in the last decision.

Flamengo announced this Monday (18) Betano as its new master sponsor . The contract, valid for three years, is the largest ever signed by a Brazilian club and places the Rubro-Negro among the ten highest paid in the world . The agreement provides for around R$268 million per season for the brand's exposure on the uniform.
The amount is more than double the previous contract with Pixbet, which generated R$115 million annually. With this, Flamengo further widens the gap with its rivals in the national scenario : the second-largest master sponsorship in Brazil, Corinthians' with Esporte da Sorte, is worth R$103 million, or R$165 million less than Flamengo's.
The red-black contract exceeds, for example, that of Ajax (HOL) with Ziggo, which pays only €8 million (around R$51 million).
The deal with Betano also includes performance targets that could boost the club's profits . The deal reinforces Flamengo's status as a leading brand in South American football and demonstrates the commercial growth potential of clubs in the region.
Atalanta's Mengão product is in their sights to reinforce their attacking command and the Cottagers already have a replacement in place in case of his departure.

Rodrigo Muniz's goalscoring form in England is starting to stir up activity in the European market . The former Flamengo player has become Atalanta's target, and a potential transfer has Fulham looking for replacements.
