FLAMENGO WINS INTER AND ENTERS G4 FOR BRASILERÃO SUB-20

In a match for the sixth round of the U-17 Brasileirão, Flamengo beat Internacional 3-1 on Wednesday night (9), at Raulino de Oliveira, in Volta Redonda. Luis Aucélio, Menegatti and David Viana scored the goals of the red-black triumph. With the result, Garotos do Ninho added 10 points and took fourth place in Group A of the national competition.

The game

The match began with a lot of dispute for possession of the ball. The teams looked to maintain possession in the offensive field. The Garotos do Ninho arrived with danger for the first time in the seventh minute. David Viana received a free kick at the entrance to the area and hit it well. The goalkeeper flattened and the ball hit the crossbar.

At 16', it was Inter's turn to reach the Red-Black area and force goalkeeper Caio Barone to make a great save. The first stage saw a lot of scoring and few clear goalscoring, ending with a blank scoreboard.

David Viana was brought down in the area and the referee awarded the penalty. The number 9 himself went for the penalty kick, but the goalkeeper jumped in the corner and made the save.

Mengão insisted and the second goal came at 33'. Lucyan received it in the area and hit it crosswise, the goalkeeper rebounded and Menegatti, in the right place, only had the job of pushing it towards the net: 2-1. . Lucyan made an individual play and was brought down in the area. Another penalty in favor of Mengão! David Viana showed personality and, this time, hit hard in the corner, moving the Colorado goalkeeper to decree the red-black victory at Raulino de Oliveira: 3 to 1.

The Under-17 Boys from Ninho return to the field next Wednesday (16) to face RB Bragantino, at 3 pm, at CT RB Brasil, for the seventh round of Group A of the Brasileirão of the category.
