O Flamengo enters the field again on Wednesday (22), against Amazonas, at the Arena da Amazônia, in the Copa do Brasil. Arrascaeta, an absolute starter for the red-and-black team under the command of coach Tite, is going through a drought in the team, in which he has not scored or assisted since March.

The last time Arrascaeta directly participated in a goal for Flamengo was in the March 9th, in the first semi-final of the Campeonato Carioca, against Fluminense. After that, the Uruguayan midfielder participated in nine other clashes, but failed.

During this period, Arrascaeta participated in plays in the offensive sector that resulted in goals. Furthermore, the Uruguayan midfielder suffered a penalty against Millonarios (COL), in Bogotá, in the first round of the Copa Libertadores de América, which was converted by center forward Pedro.

After two matches without victories, the Flamengo recovered this season with triumphs against Corinthians, 2-0, in the Brazilian Championship and against Bolívar (BOL), achieving a 4-0 victory, in a clash for the Copa Libertadores of America. The results eased fans' protests against the squad, board and coach Tite.

Now, Flamengo focuses on the Copa do Brasil. The red-black team faces Amazonas, in the second leg of the third phase of the national tournament. However, Mais Querido only needs a draw against the Amazonas, due to the victory in the first clash, in Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo and Amazonas face each other next Wednesday Friday (22), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus.

With the Brasileirão halted due to the floods in Rio Grande do Sul, Flamengois having a free week for training and adjustments. Thus, the Mais Querido squad reappeared at CT Ninho do Urubu last Friday (17) and began preparing for the clash against Amazonas, next Wednesday (22).

Thus, this Monday (20), the squad of Mais Querido performs at CT Ninho do Urubu to continue the preparation for the third phase match of the Copa do Brasil. According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, Rubro-Negro players begin training at 9am.

Due to the floods affecting the entire state of Rio Grande do South, clubs from Série A of the Brasileirão came together and sent a request to the CBF for the championship to be halted. In this way, the entity complied with the requests and stopped two rounds of the competition.

Thus, the Flamengowill have a few weeks free to train. Highlighting that only the Brasileirão was stopped, while the Copa do Brasil, Libertadores and Sul-Americana have their rounds normalized.

This way, Mais Querido will have this Monday (20), the penultimate training session before heading to Manaus, where they will face Amazonas on Wednesday (22), at 9:30 pm, at Arena Amazônia, in the second leg of the third phase of the Copa do Brasil.< /p>
