Singer Diogo Nogueira was the musical attraction this Friday (15) at the Encontro com Patrícia Poeta. The samba singer spoke about his new album "Sagrado" and also spoke out to his girlfriend, actress Paolla Oliveira. He impressed when he talked about the conjunction of two feelings for the actress: love and passion.

“It was an incredible meeting. I'm a guy who's in love and at the same time I love her. We can play with these two universes Because either the guy is just in love or he just loves. I do both." "It's like a meeting of the heart", said Diogo Nogueira.

His girlfriend also sent a message to the musician and declared herself for him. Diogo reinforced the connection and harmony that exists in their relationship:  "(It's been like this) since the beginning. It was a meeting with a very strong intensity, with an energy that seems to have an aura surrounding us. So I just wanted to thank the people from above, because she is a wonderful person. A humble person, with character, generous, friend, partner", praised the samba singer.

HOMENAGE TO THE FATHER

The singer also spoke about his father, João Nogueira. He said that in honor of his father, he will play João in a musical. It is worth remembering that João Nogueira was one of the greatest Brazilian samba singers and composers and died in 2000, victim of a massive heart attack.

Former BBB Leidy Elin, participant of "BBB 24", has been facing a wave of racist attacks since leaving the reality show. The 25-year-old trancista revealed that she receives offensive messages on her social networks daily. In some of the messages, internet users call her a "monkey" and make insults related to the color of her skin, in addition to wishing her death.

This Thursday, the 26th, Leidy's legal advisor released a note official informing that the former BBB will take legal action against those responsible for the racist attacks.

SUPPORT FROM REALITY COLLEAGUES

In light of the public complaint made by Leidy on social media, several fellow prisoners expressed solidarity. Lucas Buda, one of the program's participants, commented: "Come on, sister! Count on me." Marcus Vinicius, another ex-BBB member, wrote: "We really have to go after this bunch of idiots! Criminals!".

Alane and Cezar Black, who participated in previous editions, also expressed support. "Very right friend! I'm with you", said Alane. Cezar, on the other hand, lamented the racism still present in Brazil: "Unfortunately, sometimes veiled, sometimes openly, we still live in a country like this. Stay strong, my dear."

LEIDY TALKS ABOUT THE IMPACTS OF FAME AND THE FIGHT AGAINST DEPRESSION

Leidy Elin faced great exposure during her participation in "BBB 24", and the negative repercussions after conflicts with favorite participants of the public resulted in massive attacks on the internet. The former BBB revealed that, upon returning home, she fell into depression, partly due to the attacks suffered by her and her family.

"I really wanted to make a video talking about Yellow September, but I don't have the strength for this", said Leidy. "I fell into depression a month after leaving the program and I struggle with it every day." She also highlighted that she had never faced psychological problems before participating in the reality show.

PHYSICAL CHANGES AND THE IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL ILLNESS

At the beginning of the week, Leidy Elin recorded a video in a bikini, where she shows the changes her body has undergone due to emotional exhaustion. "Would you like to take a tour of your body? I'm going to tell you how our emotions impact our body", he reported. The former sister said that she had never gone through these changes before and that she is trying to get back into the physical shape she had before the program.

This Wednesday (4), singer Diogo Nogueira celebrated the third anniversary of becoming Candomblé, an important initiation ceremony into the Afro-Brazilian religion that marks the beginning of his cult of the orixás, deities of Yoruba mythology. Nogueira shared photos of the special moment on his Instagram account, where he expressed the depth of this spiritual experience.

“It was a beautiful and important moment, where I connected with all religion and my orixás”, wrote the singer in the publication's caption.

In the comments of his post, Diogo Nogueira received a flood of messages of affection and support from friends and celebrities. Among them, pastor Henrique Vieira, who is also a federal deputy for PSOL/RJ, left an affectionate message: “How beautiful, brother”. In response, the singer revealed his emotion: “Wow, I was even moved by your comment.”

FACED WITH RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE

Diogo Nogueira is not only known for his music, but also for his firm stance against religious intolerance, something he has experienced personally. In 2023, the singer addressed the topic in an interview with Estadão, highlighting the importance of combating prejudice. This theme is even present in his album Sagrado Volume 1, in which Nogueira exalts the roots of samba and addresses spiritual issues.

The singer recalled an episode in which he suffered attacks after publicly declaring himself a Candomblecista. “In the comments, many people don’t respect my religion,” said Diogo at the time. He, however, prefers not to refute these hateful comments: “For what, right? The more you answer, the less they will understand. It's best to leave these people alone. I just have to ask for forgiveness for them.”

THE MESSAGE OF RESILIENCE AND RESPECT

Despite the criticism, Diogo Nogueira remains firm in his faith and proud of his religious roots. Your peaceful stance in the face of religious intolerance is an example of resilience, showing that the best response to prejudice is respect and connection with your spirituality.
