This Wednesday (24), Flamengo faces Bolívar in another challenge for the Copa Libertadores. The confrontation brings with it an unfavorable history for the red and black team from Rio, who seeks to reverse the situation against their Bolivian opponent. Since the first clash between the two teams, Flamengo was unable to establish hegemony against Bolívar. There have been four clashes throughout history, with only one victory for Mais Querido.

In the 1983 Copa Libertadores, the teams faced each other twice, with alternating results. In the first match, Bolívar won 3-1. However, in the second match, Flamengo got payback with a 5-2 victory. 2014 of the Copa Libertadores, the teams faced each other again in a very disputed group stage. The first game ended in a draw, with a score of 2-2. In the second match, Bolívar came out on top, winning 1-0.

FLAMENGO HAS A BAD RETROSPECT< /p>

Based on this history, Flamengo enters the field aware of the challenges it will have to overcome to achieve victory. The Rio team is looking not only for the three points, but also to break this sequence of unfavorable results against Bolívar.

Flamengo's coach and players recognize the importance of the clash and are determined to put on a good performance. During training, strategies have been worked out to neutralize the opponent's game and exploit possible gaps in the Bolivian defense.

In addition, the match against Bolívar represents an opportunity for Flamengo to show its strength and reaffirm its aspirations in continental competition. A victory would be essential not only for qualifying for the next stages, but also for boosting the morale of the team and the fans.

The excitement of the fans Flamengo for the game against Amazonas in Manaus was quickly replaced by outrage when ticket prices were announced. With prices reaching R$ 1725.00 for the VIP Portão D sector, fans expressed their frustration at what they consider exorbitant prices, leaving many local residents dissatisfied.

Tickets for the red and black fans were offered for sale at surprisingly high prices, especially by local standards. The most affordable ticket, destined for the northern sector of the stadium, is being sold for R$ 345.00. However, even this price is considered high by many fans, especially considering the economic reality of the region.

IN SEARCH FOR CHEAPEST TICKETS

The news about ticket prices generated a wave of discontent among Flamengo in Manaus. Many expressed their frustration on social media and in discussion groups, highlighting the lack of consideration for local fans and the inability for many of them to afford the cost of tickets.

In addition, some fans pointed out the disparity between the amounts charged in Manaus and those charged in other Flamengo games across the country. For many, the prices charged for the game against Amazonas are far above what is reasonable, especially taking into account the average purchasing power of the local population.

In response to the criticism, representatives of the Flamengo club stated that ticket prices were defined according to the logistical and operational costs involved in holding the game in Manaus, in addition to considering the standard prices charged at large sporting events.

On Monday afternoon (13), Flamengo started the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship on the right foot. That's because the Girls of the Ninho faced Atlético Mg in Belo Horizonte and achieved an important victory in the debut of the straight points tournament.

Rubro Negro opened the scoring just three minutes into the first half. Cerqueira made a long and precise pass to the jewel of the base, Kaylane, who had coolness when finishing and scoring a great goal against Atlético MG. After that, Ju Bittencourt closed everything in Mais Querido's goal and secured the advantage for the second half.

In the second half, the Gávea girls managed to manage the score well in Belo Horizonte. Coach Felipe Torres made four changes, which helped keep the Minas Gerais team at home. In attack, Rubro Negro continued to threaten to increase the score, but the opposing goalkeeper performed a miracle. Confirmation of the 1-0 victory in the debut came with the final whistle of the match.

Rubro Negro will return to the field next Wednesday (16). The Brazilian Women's Under-17 Championship is played at a single venue, in the city of Belo Horizonte. Therefore, Meninas da Gávea will face Athletico - PR at 2pm, at Arena Morro das Pedras. The CBF does not provide broadcasts of the Brasileirão games in this edition.

RUBRO NERO GROUP IN THE 1ST PHASE

The CBF made an important change for the 2023 Brazilian Under-17 Championship. Previously, the entity separated 12 clubs into three groups, and the best two in each qualified for the second phase. Starting this year, there will be four groups with 16 teams and only four teams will advance.

Flamengo is in group B, alongside Santos, runner-up in the last edition, Atlético MG and Athletico PR. The championship is played in a single game. Therefore, it is essential for Rubro Negro to finish in first place. If they advance to the semi-final, Mais Querido will face the best placed team in Group C.
