Following a special request from FIFA, Globo has reached an agreement to broadcast 34 matches of the new format of the 2025 Club World Cup , which will be held between June 14 and July 13 in the United States. According to Folha de S. Paulo, the broadcaster will show all of the Brazilian teams' games on free-to-air TV, in addition to the opening match of the tournament.
The kick-off of the competition will be between Al Ahly (EGI) and Inter Miami (USA), at the home of Lionel Messi's team, and will mark Globo 's first broadcast of the tournament. The Rio de Janeiro-based broadcaster has a good relationship with FIFA and has already agreed a deal for the next World Cup .
On pay TV, the package also guarantees the broadcast of matches involving Brazilian teams, with the added bonus of including clashes between European powers. In total, 12 European clubs will participate in the edition: Porto, PSG , Atlético de Madrid , Bayern Munich , Benfica , Chelsea , Inter Milan , Borussia Dortmund , Manchester City , Juventus , Real Madrid and RB Salzburg .
The release of the broadcast by Globo was possible thanks to a special authorization from the platform DAZN , which holds the rights to the tournament and complied with FIFA's request. This is the streaming platform's first agreement with a free-to-air TV channel; until now, the rights had only been negotiated with closed channels . In addition to Globo, DAZN and CazéTV will also broadcast the games.
With the new agreement, Flamengo 's three group stage games will be broadcast on free-to-air TV. The Rubro-Negro's debut is scheduled for June 16th, at 10pm (Brasília time), against Espérance , from Tunisia. In the second round, the opponent will be Chelsea , on the 20th, at 3pm. The third match is still awaiting the definition of the opponent , since León (MEX) was excluded from the competition by FIFA.
In addition to Flamengo, Palmeiras, Botafogo and Fluminense will also have their matches broadcast by Globo. With this agreement, the broadcaster guarantees broad coverage of Brazil's participation in the biggest edition in the history of the Club World Cup . The teams are in different groups of the competition.

The Rio de Janeiro club reportedly offered 7 million euros for 60% of the Santos goalkeeper's rights, but Peixe asked for a higher amount and refused the offer.

Flamengo has formalized a proposal for goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão , Santos' standout player in 2025. According to information from UOL, Rubro-Negro offered seven million euros (around R$45 million) for 60% of the player's economic rights.
Despite the high price, Santos rejected the offer. The São Paulo club believes Brazão should only leave if a minimum offer of €15 million (approximately R$94 million) is met, a sum considered fair by the board to open negotiations.
According to Gazeta do Urubu , the Rio de Janeiro club has not yet made an official offer to the player. Sources within the board revealed that the player is being monitored, but there have been no official talks with the goalkeeper yet.
Gabriel Brazão is in great form and has become one of the most highly valued goalkeepers in Brazilian football. In addition to Flamengo 's interest, European clubs are also monitoring the situation. Torino, from Italy, even submitted a R$64 million offer , which Santos also rejected.
Other giants like Chelsea, Galatasaray, and Porto are closely monitoring the player's progress , as he has played 33 matches this season. Santos' board, which recently loaned João Paulo to Bahia, is working to keep Brazão at least until the end of the year.
