With two rounds left until the end of the Brazilian Championship, the winner of the tournament title has not been decided, but it is already known which six teams managed to secure their place in the 2024 Copa Libertadores da América through the competition. In addition, two more Brazilian clubs have vacancies due to having won cups throughout the year.
Next year Brazil will send a total of eight teams to the Libertadores. These are the six clubs with the most points accumulated in the Brasileirão (Palmeiras, Botafogo, Flamengo, Atlético-MG, Grêmio and Bragantino), the winner of this year's edition of the international tournament, Fluminense, and São Paulo, who won the Copa do Brasil .
It is interesting to note that, while the Rio and São Paulo tricolors are already safe in the group stage, there is still the possibility of two teams being left out of the 'first phase' of the tournament next season. This is because being in the G-6 of the Brasileirão does not guarantee you a place in the group stage. The 5th and 6th placed teams go to the preliminaries, having to fight for a place in a group, against other teams from the continent.
At the moment, no club is safe from this reality. Even Palmeiras runs the risk of being overtaken by fifth place in the league table, Grêmio, who is just four points less.
It is also worth mentioning that the only team that could enter the G-6, passing Bragantino (6th place - 59 points) is Fluminense, which, necessarily, has to be in the next edition, which would still grant the place to the São Paulo native, extending the places for the preliminaries to the G-7.
Flamengo aims to remain in the G-4 in the last two rounds of the competition. After all, this was always Tite's main objective when he agreed to take command of the squad at the beginning of October: to guarantee a place in the group stage of the tournament.
With 63 points accumulated, Fla cannot be fooled, as everything is very competitive in this final stretch. The team's next appointment is this Sunday (03), at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, against Cuiabá.

Rubro-Negro overcame European football powers such as PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona , who recorded 42, 39 and 37 victories, respectively, which further consolidates the numbers achieved since the coach began his work at Mengão.
