The Nottingham Forest (ING) midfielder, however, is close to signing with Atlético-MG. According to the portal 'UOL', the team from Minas Gerais is working fiercely to speed up negotiations and find an outcome for the signing of the Brazilian athlete.
Currently Scarpa is working for Olympiacos (GRE), but he belongs to Nottingham Forest (ING). The 29-year-old midfielder has a contract with the English club until June 2026. Therefore, the team is asking for 5 to 6 million euros (between R$26 and 32 million) to move forward with the negotiation.
He arrived at the English club in January this year, when he left Palmeiras. He played in just eight matches, only two as a starter in the Greek Championship and Europa League. The objective was to play a good game and take an advantage for the return game, next week.
