Idol of Flamengo between 2019 and 2020, < b>Jorge Jesus marked an era at enhance one of the most qualified squads in the history of Brazilian football. When asked who would be the best among them all, the coach highlighted the Argentinean Pablo Aimar: “I don't have that much time with Neymar… In general, the player who met all these conditions was Aimar”, said Jorge Jesus.
Michael compares Filipe Luís with Jorge Jesus
In a press conference last Wednesday (15), striker Michael, who worked with Jorge Jesus at Flamengo and in Al-Hilal, he commented on the training of Filipe Luís, former defender and now coach of Rubro-Negro during the pre-season in the United States. According to Michael, Filipe has similarities with Mister's style, with the notable difference being his age.
"The difference between Fili and Jorge is that he is younger b>. He wants to win, just like the old man. It's not the same, but it has similar fundamentals to Mister, in my opinion, one thing I know is the same: same desire, Ghana to win and win titles. He was once a f*cking athlete, but now he also wants to be a coach," he said.
Michael also praised Filipe Luís' ability to listen and learn:
"I see Fili taking the mental part every day. The only difference I see is his age. If he continues like this, he'll be just as successful. JJHe's good at listening. He makes fewer mistakes and learns more."

In the creative department, Flamengo also stands out as the team that created the most clear-cut chances , totaling 54. Possession is another strong point, averaging 62.8% per game, demonstrating the team's control and tactical organization.

In the Campeonato Carioca, the Mais Querido won all three duels, 2-0 in the initial phase, 1-0 and 2-1 in the semifinals.
In the first round of the Brasileirão, the derby ended in a goalless draw. Therefore, a massive crowd is expected, as all sections of the stadium are sold out , leaving only a small number of tickets remaining for Maracanã Mais.

The training schedule at CT George Helal includes activities on Tuesday (16/09) at 9:30 am, Wednesday (17/09) at 3:30 pm, Friday (19/09) at 3:30 pm and Saturday (20/09) at 9:30 am. There will be no activities on Monday (15/09).

Flamengo opened the scoring against Juventude this Sunday (14), at the Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, in Caxias do Sul, for the Brazilian Championship. Despite controlling possession, the team had not yet created clear chances until a play on the left changed the course of the first half.

Samuel Lino accelerated down the left wing and found space to cross into the box. Spaniard Saúl Ñíguez, with great technique, delivered a precise pass to Arrascaeta's head , who rose through the opposing defense and finished firmly: 1-0 to Flamengo .
During the Prime Video broadcast, the commentator was full of praise for the play and, especially, for the Spanish midfielder: "All it takes is one space for this Flamengo team to be unmarked, and this happens.
