According to information released by journalist Matheus Leal, a source close to the Portuguese coach denied any type of negotiation between him and Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as Bap, candidate for president of Flamengo, who is in the opposition to the current political group of the red-black management.
The same source confirmed that Jorge Jesus would not have any interest in returning to the club while Filipe Luís continues as Flamengo coach. However, members of Bap's campaign and Jorge Jesus himself have been meeting, as journalist Nicola stated, to discuss the possibility of a return, possibly in the second half of 2025, when the coach could be free to negotiate, if his contract with Al-Hilal is fulfilled.

Sesc Flamengo began training with the full squad for the 2025/26 season of the Women's Superliga this Monday (15). The last athletes to show up were Helena Wenk, Laís, Lorena, Tainara and Masa Kirov, who were competing in international tournaments for the Brazilian and Serbian national teams.
