President of Flamengo, Rodolfo Landim guaranteed that the construction of the club's stadium will take place “with or without SAF”. However, the president already has in mind which model cannot be followed: that of Palmeiras. For the manager, the way the São Paulo team managed to lift Allianz Parque is bad. Furthermore, Mengão revealed how much he intends to spend on his own house.

— People ask me a lot and say the following: but why not create a specific purpose company for the stadium? The answer I give is: guys, it's the model that Palmeiras created, and we see what's happening there. The next day, the guy who is your partner is already fighting with you because he wants to increase the stadium's revenue, reducing the club's revenue. I think this model is bad — said Rodolfo Landim, in an interview with CBN, this Sunday (31).

Since the beginning of the partnership between Palmeiras and the company responsible for giving the stadium its name, the team has had to send games in other squares due to shows. With the musical performances, the synthetic lawn becomes worn out and becomes unplayable. In other words, Allianz manages to have more 'power' in relation to the technical gains of Abel Ferreira's team. Therefore, Landim does not want to share Flamengo's home with another brand, so as not to have this problem.

Flamengo's plan A for the construction of the stadium is the Gasologista land , near São Cristóvão, in Rio de Janeiro. To buy the land, Rubro-Negro intends to invest between R$250 and 400 million. However, the total value of the work is in the billions, according to Fla's vice-president of marketing and communications, Gustavo Oliveira, who also participated in the interview on CBN.

— We are talking about make an investment in this land of R$1.5 billion, R$2 billion. I think that in any city in the world, a private investor investing R$2 billion in an area like that, which will boost that entire area, would be very welcome. This is what we are proposing for the city of Rio de Janeiro — said Gustavo.
