Flamengo 's board of directors is keeping an eye on the transfer market and is already considering possible reinforcements for the next transfer window. The focus at the moment is on the left-back position, a sector that has been weakened after Matías Viña's injury. The Uruguayan, signed in 2024, is out of action for an indefinite period due to a serious knee problem. Filipe Luís currently has Alex Sandro and Ayrton Lucas, but he welcomes the arrival of another name to strengthen the squad.
Among the options being monitored , Juninho Capixaba , 27, has been gaining strength behind the scenes at Gávea. The RB Bragantino player is being evaluated by the club's football department, which is led by José Boto. The information was initially revealed by journalist Jorge Nicola, on his YouTube channel, and indicates that Mengão already knows how much it would have to invest to take the athlete from Bragança Paulista.
According to the investigation, Bragantino is asking for around 7 million euros (around R$46 million at the current exchange rate) to release the player. In addition to Flamengo, other Série A clubs have shown interest, such as Palmeiras, Cruzeiro and Atlético-MG. Despite the competition, the Mais Querido considers the negotiation viable, as long as the outcome happens quickly, due to the rules of the Brazilian Championship.
The Brasileirão has a clause that prevents players who have played seven games from playing for another club in the same edition of the competition. Juninho Capixaba has currently played four games for Bragantino. This means that Flamengo needs to speed up negotiations if they really want to count on the player this year.
Juninho Capixaba has been showing good numbers since arriving at RB Bragantino in 2023. The full-back has played 118 matches, with ten goals and nine assists, significant numbers for a defender. He also has a contract valid until December 2027, which reinforces the São Paulo club's intention to demand a high amount for the player's immediate release.
The team will go to the altitude of El Alto to face the Bolivian team in the 4100m and Flamengo's striker should start the game in the duel

Botafogo-PB has begun restructuring its squad with an eye on the 2026 season. Out of the final phase of this year's Série C, the club announced a list of departures, and among the names is striker Henrique Dourado , formerly of Flamengo.
In an official statement last Monday (08), the club confirmed the departure of 13 players . In addition, it reported that midfielders Igor Maduro and Thallyson were loaned to Volta Redonda until the end of this season.
The striker played in two matches against Flamengo in the Copa do Brasil, in the third stage of the competition. The Rubro-Negro won both duels: 1-0 in the first leg and 4-2 in the return, scoring Belo's second goal , securing a spot in the quarterfinals.
Henrique Dourado arrived at Flamengo in 2018, after being the top scorer in the 2017 Brasileirão with Fluminense . His initial contract ran until 2021, but in 2019 he was sold to Henan Jianye, from China, in a deal worth approximately R$22 million.
While Dourado is free on the market, Flamengo remains firm in the season. The next commitment will be on Sunday (14), against Juventude, for the 23rd round of the Brasileirão . The match will be at Alfredo Jaconi, in Caxias do Sul, at 4 pm (Brasília time) and will be broadcast on Amazon Prime.
The athlete has not been used much by coach Filipe Luís, but he still has the coach's trust and will be used this Tuesday (10)
