The confirmation came through the tournament's official website, which also offered a wild card to German Jan-Lennard Struff . Fonseca was already registered for the event, but the invitation guarantees his presence directly in the main draw, without the need to compete in the qualifying round .

According to the records, the contract included an advance payment of R$6 million to the artist, with the aim of covering personal and logistical expenses for future events. This amount would be deducted as the performances were performed. The strategy aimed to guarantee the singer financial strength at a time when the entertainment sector was facing a strong downturn.
In August 2021, the parties adjusted the terms of the agreement and signed a new contract. This time, the booking agency invested R$51.1 million to pre-book 410 shows. The model provided for full control of the artist's schedule, reinforcing the exclusivity of the operation.
