The Brazilian Football Confederation ( CBF ) officially spoke out on Tuesday night (29) to deny rumors about a possible red and black reserve shirt , the colors of Flamengo , for the Brazilian National Team for the 2026 World Cup . In a note, the entity stated that the images recently released with uniforms in red, black and white have no relation to the official models.
“The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) clarifies that the recently released images of alleged Brazilian National Team uniforms for the 2026 World Cup are not official ,” the statement said.
Furthermore, the CBF reinforced that no official preview was released in partnership with Nike , the National Team's sports equipment supplier, and ruled out any link with the Jordan brand , mentioned in some of the speculations, in addition to emphasizing that it should not violate its own statute , which states that the Canarinho's uniforms must be the colors of its flag , except in festive games.
