Looking towards the future, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo signed a promising talent from Vasco da Gama. Flamengo defeated Botafogo 2-1 in a match valid for the 19th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The clash, held this Wednesday, July 24th, featured young Lorran, who scored one of the goals of the red-black comeback.

Flamengo's new under-17 coach, Filipe Luís, has received a new reinforcement for the season. The new commander of Mais Querido will have in his squad 16-year-old center forward Filipy Teixeira, who left Vasco's youth ranks to join Rubro Negro.
According to information from Youtuber Flazoeiro and the "Flabase" portal , Lipão, as Filipy is known, was prominent in Vasco's youth categories and won 19 titles since under-13. His main title was the Carioca Under-17 Championship, in 2022, in which the player was part of the squad at just 15 years old and scored two goals. Filipy was also the team's second top scorer in winning the Guilherme Embry Under-16 Tournament.
