This past Sunday (6), Flamengo beat Cuiabá, in a game valid for the U-20 Brasileirão, by a score of 3-0. Author of one of the goals, Lorran has returned to stand out in the base of Mais Querido after going through turbulent days in the professional team.
After being close to being sold to CSKA (RUS) and being loaned to Fortaleza, the youngster returned to play for Flamengo's youth team, which gave up on negotiating the player in this window. In his return to the under-20s, the number 10 has played four games, scored three goals and provided one assist.
Hired to take charge of Flamengo's under-20 team, Portuguese coach Nuno Campos could be a great ally for Lorran in his comeback. According to information from GE, the coach has already had two private conversations with the youngster since arriving at the club in March.
Furthermore, Nuno has said internally that he will help Lorran with content that the striker may not have had until now in his training process. In his conversations with the number 10, the Portuguese has tried to guide him and transmit confidence, stating that he will help him evolve so that he can shine again as a professional.
Flamengo understands that there may have been a mistake in Lorran's training at the youth level and, as a result, he was unable to develop in the ideal way to perform in the professional team. The decision to keep him in the under-20s is part of the current board's plan, which understands it to be a tough measure, but necessary for his development.
Lorran has played 35 matches for Flamengo's first team, scoring two goals and providing three assists. The youngster is considered one of the greatest talents of the youth team after Vini Jr., and behind the scenes, his name has been speculated as a target for European clubs since he emerged. Furthermore, with the renewal of his contract until the end of 2029, his release clause has now risen to 100 million euros (R$636 million).

Flamengo's standout player, Ryan Roberto, opened the scoring for Rubro-Negro after just 8 minutes of the first half. At 20', the Bahian team tied the game, with Lyan scoring the goal.
In the first half's injury time, Ryan Roberto found a beautiful pass to Lucas Falcone between the defender and the Bahia full-back. The number 5 crossed to Luiz Guilherme, who controlled it and put Mais Querido in front on the scoreboard again.

With the victory, Flamengo reached 15 points and rose to 5th place in the league table. Now, Mais Querido focuses its attention on the next match, on Wednesday (9), against Palmeiras, at 2:45 pm.

Flamengo had to make up for a 3-1 deficit from the first leg of the U-16 Rio Cup final against Vasco, and ended up losing again, this time 2-0, on Sunday morning (29), at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea. The team worked hard on the field, almost managed to open the scoring on two occasions, but ended up conceding two goals in the second half.
As is the case in most title-winning games, Flamengo and Vasco played a tight duel at the beginning, with the game largely concentrated in the midfield. The exceptions were corners and crosses into the box. The first dangerous shot ended up being from the opponent, at 18 minutes.
The need to win caused anxiety in the red-and-black team, which sometimes rushed into the outcome of plays. Despite having more of the ball and staying more in the attacking field, Fla had difficulty breaking through Vasco's blockade. There were many blocked shots and a free kick hit into the wall that ended with the goalkeeper saving the rebound, at 39 minutes.
Flamengo started the second half well. They had a chance after just one minute, with two attempts by number 10 Guilherme Ivo, but the goalkeeper managed to save it. The best chance came in the second minute, when Pedro Henrique crossed and Guilherme Ivo finished again. This time the defense cleared it on the line.
Better for Vasco, who ended up scoring twice, in the 14th minute, from a free kick, and in the 22nd minute. The game continued without any major scoring chances. Flamengo fought hard on the field in an attempt to react, while the opponent tried to pass the time and close in on a counterattack. There were no more important moves until the final whistle.
