Flamengo returns to the field this Wednesday (21) to play the second leg of the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The opponent is Botafogo-PB, in a duel scheduled for 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã. The match will be broadcast exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video platform, since Rede Globo only shows games of the national tournament from the round of 16 onwards.
According to information released by the press, coach Filipe Luís should rest players with a high rate of fatigue. Thus, names such as Danilo, Ayrton Lucas, Everton Araújo, Everton Cebolinha and Juninho have a chance to start the match, giving new life to the squad in the midst of the marathon of games.
With a 1-0 victory in the first leg, held at the Castelão Stadium in São Luís (MA), Flamengo only needs a draw to advance to the round of 16. On that occasion, the goal was scored by Joshua, who guaranteed the favorable score for the Rio de Janeiro club away from home.

The Brazilian National Team concludes its participation in the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup this Tuesday (9), against Bolivia, at 8:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Municipal Stadium of El Alto, located at an altitude of 4,100 meters.
Already guaranteed a spot in the World Cup, Brazil sits in second place and can no longer catch leaders Argentina. The goal now is to maintain Carlo Ancelotti 's unbeaten run and avoid the team's worst qualifying campaign in history. To do so, they need a win away from home.

Botafogo-PB has begun restructuring its squad with an eye on the 2026 season. Out of the final phase of this year's Série C, the club announced a list of departures, and among the names is striker Henrique Dourado , formerly of Flamengo.
In an official statement last Monday (08), the club confirmed the departure of 13 players . In addition, it reported that midfielders Igor Maduro and Thallyson were loaned to Volta Redonda until the end of this season.
The striker played in two matches against Flamengo in the Copa do Brasil, in the third stage of the competition. The Rubro-Negro won both duels: 1-0 in the first leg and 4-2 in the return, scoring Belo's second goal , securing a spot in the quarterfinals.
Henrique Dourado arrived at Flamengo in 2018, after being the top scorer in the 2017 Brasileirão with Fluminense . His initial contract ran until 2021, but in 2019 he was sold to Henan Jianye, from China, in a deal worth approximately R$22 million.
While Dourado is free on the market, Flamengo remains firm in the season. The next commitment will be on Sunday (14), against Juventude, for the 23rd round of the Brasileirão . The match will be at Alfredo Jaconi, in Caxias do Sul, at 4 pm (Brasília time) and will be broadcast on Amazon Prime.
The athlete has not been used much by coach Filipe Luís, but he still has the coach's trust and will be used this Tuesday (10)
