This last Thursday (8), singer Preta Gil gathered friends and family to celebrate her 50th birthday in style, with a birthday party, in a warehouse in Rio's Port Zone. In an interview with the portal LeoDias, the artist said she was feeling super happy with the celebration.
“I'm very happy, I've never been so happy in my life. I have a feeling of a fresh start, of a new chance to be able to live, to experience everything that life has to offer me, now much more mature, conscious, light and with a lot of thirst for life”, began the singer, who last year faced an arduous battle against bowel cancer.
On Thursday (8), Preta Gil also released her autobiography, where she reveals some dramatic moments experienced throughout her life. Some of the points covered in the book Preta Gil - The first 50, were the discovery of rectal cancer, in January 2023, how she experienced the disease amidst the discovery of betrayal and a separation, and also some moments from her singing career .
Preta said that writing the autobiography was a painful process, as she had to remember some moments from her past: “It was a painful process, I think I started writing the book in 2018, but I didn't have the courage to to throw. When I got sick I started writing again and then I managed to combine what I had already written in 2018 with what I wrote now in 2023 and The First 50 came out”, declared the artist before completing:
“I think that when we go back to our own history, when we touch on points, it is always strong to go back to our history”, he continued.

Many celebrities traveled to Italy to see what was new at Milan Fashion Week. So, this Saturday (21), Madonna attended the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show and took photos with other celebrities who were there, including the actor Cauã Reymond, who the Queen of Pop recently started following.

Flavia Saraiva, Flamengo gymnast, met pop diva Katy Perry last Wednesday (18) and presented the singer with one of the tights she took to the Paris Olympic Games. A fan of the American artist, the gymnast was one of the personalities and fans who participated in the meeting with the diva in Cidade do Rock.
Flavia Saraiva presented the singer with a blue leotard, printed with golden stones forming the word " Brazil". The model belongs to the collection designed by Jade Barbosa and is normally used in training for the Brazilian gymnastics team. This last Saturday (21), Thiago Martins made his first São Paulo edition of Quintal do TG, his musical project. In addition to debuting his show in São Paulo, the artist also celebrated his 36th birthday, completed last Thursday (19).
With a repertoire of samba and pagode, Thiago pays homage to great names such as Jorge Aragão, Zeca Pagodinho, Arlindo Cruz, among others: "It's a project of mine and I wanted to pay homage to artists who are a reference in samba and pagode. I usually tell the public to come prepared because it's more than a three-hour show. Very excited," he said.
In his repertoire, he opened his performance with the song Pose de Rei, his feat with Zeca Pagodinho, released in August. The singer took the stage at sunset, at 6pm. In the first half hour of the show, he took off his pair of sneakers and went barefoot to continue the performance, in which he even sambad and tried moowalk steps.
Thiago's performance also featured songs like Mina de Fé, Já é, Do seu lado and ended with Tempo Perdido, a success by Legião Urbana, one of the singer's favorite bands.
"I wanted to bring the energy of Vidigal to São Paulo", said Thiago, who grew up in the Rio de Janeiro neighborhood and claims to have a loving relationship with the capital of São Paulo.
