Brazilian Reinier left his mark and played a fundamental role in Frosinone's 1-1 draw with Genoa, this Saturday (30), away from home, in the 30th round of the Italian Championship. The attacking midfielder hit a beautiful shot, first time, after a cross from Nadir Zortea to equalize the score, still in the first half. The home team took the lead with Icelandic Albert Guðmundsson taking a penalty.

With the result, Frosinone reached 25 points and, in 18th place, remains firmly in the fight to get out of the relegation zone. In the next round, the team will host Bologna, in a duel scheduled for April 7th, at the Benito Stirpe Stadium.

- I left the field with a mixed feeling of happiness for having scored again, but upset because I think we could have come away with the victory. We played a good game. In any case, this point away from home is important for us. We have eight more 'decisions' ahead of us and we will work hard to keep Frosinone in the elite - said the former Flamengo player about the performance and result.

Despite the fight against relegation in Serie A, Reinier has stood out individually with good numbers for Frosinone. So far, he has played 17 games, scored three goals and provided two assists.

Loaned by Real Madrid until the end of the season, Reinier began his career at Flamengo, moving up to the professional team in 2019 and already being champion of the Brazilian and Libertadores. For Rubro-Negro, there were six goals and two assists in 15 matches.
