Rodinei sends an emotional message after announcing David Luiz's departure from Flamengo

After three years defending Flamengo, David Luiz ended his career at the club. Hired in 2021, the defender will not have his contract renewed for 2025. Despite fluctuating moments on the field, the athlete will leave a significant legacy behind the scenes, especially due to the relationship of friendship and support for teammates, such as the full-back Rodinei, who left Mengão at the end of 2022.

I couldn't help but stop by to congratulate you on everything you've experienced within Mengão. I know very well how many people you helped, how much you enjoyed every day, and how happy you were to see another person improving”, wrote Rodinei, on Instagram.
