The prosecutor's office of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) formalized this Monday (11) the request to ban the MRV Arena, following the confusion during the final of the Copa do Brasil, between Atlético-MG and Flamengo. In this sense, there are two fronts, with basically the same events: The interdiction request and the complaint against Galo, who, in the judgment on the merits, can result in loss of field control, closed gates and a fine.

The prosecutor asks the president of the STJD for an injunction so that the stadium is immediately closed and, at the same time, Atlético-MG plays in another stadium behind closed doors. The deadline requested by the prosecutor's office for this punishment to be valid via injunction is until the final judgment of the complaint against the club.
O Atlético-MG was covered by articles 211 (not ensuring safety for the game) and 213 (not taking measures capable of preventing disorder) of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD). The prosecutor's office considers it "reckless to allow games to take place at Arena MRV, at the risk of new attitudes that go against the physical safety of all participants on and off the field."
The body also pointed out "very serious failures by the home club in failing to prevent and contain acts of violence and enormous disorder immediately."
The facts in the complaint
The prosecutor used the summary and videos to support the complaint against Atlético-MG, such as:
Bomb throwing; At least four were reported on the scoresheet. One exploded near Plata, during Flamengo's goal celebration, and another hit photographer Nuremberg José's foot.
Throwing objects; The summary also mentioned several objects thrown onto the field, especially cups. And this led to a stoppage of the match for seven minutes.
Laser on Rossi's face; Since the warm-up and during the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper was the target of a green laser.
Fan invasion after Flamengo goal; He was contained at the edge of the field, during the celebration of the red and blacks.
Attempted invasion by several fans; This happened after the match, before the award to champion Flamengo.
