Flamengo has the biggest fans in Brazil and this is always becoming more and more evident. The broadcast of the confrontation between Mais Querido and Fluminense was a great success for Bandeirantes, on open television. The broadcaster managed to surpass its competitors in terms of national audience and took second place last Sunday (25). The only broadcaster that was ahead was Rede Globo.

According to data from Kantar Ibope Media, Flamengo's victory over Fluminense, in the tenth round of the Guanabara Cup, resulted in an average of 5 .5 points during the broadcast. While the ball was in play, between 4pm and 5:59pm (Brasília time), Bandeirantes achieved an audience of 6.2 points, surpassing SBT's 5.7 and Record's 4.6.

The only broadcaster that managed to surpass the audience for Flamengo's game at Bandeirantes was Rede Globo. This is due to the fact that The Masked Singer Brasil reached 10 points, although this number was the lowest this 2024 season.

DEFINITION OF THE GUANABARA CUP

FERJ defined that Flamengo will return to the field to lift the Guanabara Cup next Saturday (2), against Madureira, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã. According to information from journalist Renan Moura, the choice takes place after Mais Querido beat Fluminense, this Sunday (25), 2-0, in the penultimate round. This way, with Rubro Negro's title already guaranteed, there is no need for it to take place simultaneously with the other games.

With the victory, Mais Querido reached 24 points and has a goal difference of 19. Fluminense comes next, with 21, but eight to spare. Nova Iguaçu, third placed for the semi-finals, also has 21, however, with a goal difference of four.

Last Wednesday (18), representatives from Flamengo and Caixa Econômica Federal held another meeting to resolve the impasse surrounding the Gasologista land, acquired by the club in July. The meeting had the support of Rio de Janeiro City Hall and the Attorney General's Office (AGU), and a new meeting scheduled for next week, in Brasília, could seal the definitive agreement. The information was released by journalist Diogo Dantas, from the newspaper "O Globo".

Mengão's board of directors, represented by president Rodolfo Landim, vice-general Rodrigo Dunshee, CEO Reinaldo Belotti and vice-president of equity Marcos Bodin, was optimistic about the possibility of a solution soon. Caixa questions the amount paid by the club at the land auction, but everything indicates that an additional amount could resolve the legal conflict by next month.

INVOLVEMENT OF THE CITY OF RIO

The meeting was also attended by deputy Pedro Paulo and the club's director of external relations, Cacau Cotta, who have acted as intermediaries between the club and the mayor from Rio, Eduardo Paes. In August, a meeting involving the bank's president, Carlos Vieira, president Lula and mayor Eduardo Paes had already signaled the path to an agreement.

IMPORTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT FOR FLAMENGO

Mais Querido's director of external relations, Cacau Cotta, highlighted that the agreement is the ideal way to give peace of mind to the club. "For the club, a good agreement is always better than an eternal discussion about values. The land has already been expropriated. The agreement is ideal to eliminate any doubts and for Flamengo to have the necessary peace of mind to begin the work", said Cotta.

This Thursday (19), Flamengo hosts Peñarol (URU) at Maracanã, at 7pm (Brasília time), in a match valid for the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores da América. In search of a good advantage for the second leg, coach Tite will have to deal with several important absences in the red and black squad.

Peñarol coach, Diego Aguirre, defined the starting lineup for the match decisive. With no important absences, the Uruguayan team takes to the field with: Aguerre; Léo Coelho, Javier Méndez, Guzmán Rodríguez; Pedro Milans, Eduardo Darías, Damián García, Javier Cabrera, Léo Fernández, Maximiliano Olivera; and Maximiliano Silvera.

Aguirre will have almost his entire squad at his disposal. The only player out of the match is Damian Suarez, who has not yet had his name regularized after his recent arrival at the Uruguayan club. However, Suarez's absence is not a concern, as the coach has a complete squad for the clash against Mengão. b>

On the other hand, Mais Querido has to deal with six confirmed absences. Cebolinha, Pedro, Luiz Araújo, Gabigol, Michael and Viña are out of the match, all due to injuries. These absences complicate the formation of coach Tite, who will have to adjust the team to seek a good result playing at home.

DECISIVE GAME AT MARACANÃ
DECISIVE GAME AT MARACANÃ

This Thursday's clash is extremely important for the CRF. The Rio team needs a convincing victory to travel more calmly to Uruguay for the second leg, scheduled for September 26th. An impressive score at Maracanã would be essential to guarantee a solid advantage in the tie and ease the pressure for the second game.

The heart of the Red-Black Nation beats strongly, whether in the heat of the stands or in the comfort of the sofa. Last Wednesday (31), Flamengo shone at Mangueirão, in Belém, facing Sampaio Corrêa-RJ for the Campeonato Carioca. The spectacle was not restricted to the four lines: the stadium welcomed almost 50 thousand fans, breaking the venue's attendance record. At the same time, Brazilian homes were also filled with passion for Mengão, with Band recording an impressive peak of 8.4 ratings during the broadcast.

A spectacle on the screen

The numbers are impressive! Band, which usually hovers between 1 and 2 points in the average audience, reached its peak this year thanks to the Sampaio Corrêa 0x2 Flamengo match. The match became the broadcaster's flagship, which saw its screen come to life with the excitement of the fans and the red and black goals. A true spectacle that shows how Mengão not only wins titles, but also hearts and screens across the country.

Off the field, on the screen

But not everything is rosy on the life of those who love football and are fans of Mais Querido. This weekend will be one of abstinence for fans who were waiting for another Flamengo na Band show. Vasco, in charge of the field, preferred to settle things with another broadcaster, leaving fans orphaned from the live broadcast.

Vasco closes with SBT for the Classic of Millions

With the Law of the Principal on the scene, each club has the trick up its sleeve to negotiate its games. This time, Vasco, host of this Sunday's duel (04), reached an agreement with SBT, promising an eye-popping broadcast. In addition, Cruzmaltinos will also be present on CazéTV, via YouTube. A true spectacle on all screens!

Tight fight on the table

While the screens get used to other colors, Flamengo and Vasco are fighting a fierce battle at the top of the Carioca table . After starting the competition with alternative teams, both lost precious points in the first clashes. Flamengo is in sixth place, with eight points, while Vasco, with one game more, is in seventh place, with the same score.

Maracanã will host the show

Next Sunday holds an epic duel at 7pm (Brasília time) at the iconic Maracanã. Flamengo and Vasco face each other, not only in search of victory, but also for a privileged position in the table. The expectation is for a fervent red and black atmosphere, with Fla fans selling out tickets and coloring the stands red and black. In short, Flamengo is not just a team, it is a spectacle that infects crowds, whether in stadiums or on screens. The Classic of Millions promises to be more than a game, it will be a show of emotions, worthy of the unconditional love of a nation for its favorite team.
