The state deputy Thiago Gagliasso, brother of actor Bruno Gagliasso, is suing singer Ludmilla for slander, insult and defamation. The action was opened last Wednesday (22/5). The parliamentarian's defense stated that he was elected on October 2, 2022, with 102,038 votes, to hold the position of State Deputy for Rio de Janeiro, and that on February 1, 2023, he was sworn in, starting to hold the position public for which he was elected.
To Justice, Thiago Gagliasso explained that, on November 22, 2023, in the ordinary session of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro, a project was voted that granted the medal Tiradentes and respective diploma to Ludmilla Oliveira da Silva.
On the occasion, the granting of the highest honor from the Legislative Power to the singer Ludmilla was discussed, with Gagliasso voting against. In the video, according to the deputy's defense, the singer had stated that she was being attacked on the internet and that she would not respond to the offenses allegedly suffered, however, she needed to respond specifically to one person.
According to the process, Ludmilla would have stated that he needed to respond to this person “because he was able to make a video saying that he vetoed my medal, because he was not racist, it was because of the song Verdinha”.
