On the eve of Flamengo's debut in the Libertadores, striker Everton Cebolinha spoke to Fla TV and turned on some alerts on Mengão about the match against Millonarios, at the El Campín stadium, in Bogotá. The player drew attention to the fact that it will be a physical game, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters and that, as a result, the game ends up getting faster.

“They play a lot with physical strength, it's a very physical, but we are very well prepared. We had the opportunity to train a little here to get our grip on the ball, we know there is a bit of altitude. This gets a little disruptive, the game goes faster, breathing becomes a little more labored. It's a little more difficult to breathe, but we've gotten used to it in training,” said Cebolinha.

Flamengo had little time to rest. On Saturday afternoon, Rubro-Negro beat Nova Iguaçu 3-0 in the first leg of the Campeonato Carioca final, but on Monday they were already arriving on Colombian soil to face Millonarios.

“We are obviously anxious. It's the Libertadores, a highly coveted competition, which has become even more so in recent years. We are really looking forward to this competition this year. We know it's a very difficult match, their team is a very qualified team”, he concluded.

After playing against Millonarios, Flamengo de Cebolinha returns to Rio de Janeiro to duel against Nova Iguaçu, for the second game of the Carioca final.
