Flamengo will receive a fixed €25 million from Wesley's sale, a figure that could reach €30 million (R$194 million) if he meets contractual targets. A product of the club's youth academy , the player has scored four goals and provided six assists throughout his professional career.
To replace the departed player, Flamengo acted quickly and signed 26-year-old right-back Emerson Royal . The defender, who previously played for Milan, cost €9 million (approximately R$58 million). He arrived in Rio de Janeiro this Saturday for a medical and to sign a contract until the end of 2028.
