The soap opera ended and Tite was introduced to Flamengo and the players. The new coach arrives with the status of having two world cups under his belt and being the only coach in Brazilian football to win all possible club titles. However, the 62-year-old Gaúcho has primary issues at Flamengo, which are not necessarily based on tactics and lineup.

After the passing of Jorge Sampaoli, the board's consensus was that Flamengo needed a coach capable of not only managing the cast, how to unite Ninho do Urubu. The Argentine's passing left a bad atmosphere, due to the coach's difficulty in relating to everyday life and creating a tense atmosphere.

Tite is seen as a professional with interpersonal skills to lead the process of rapprochement in all sectors, in addition, of course, to technical quality. One of the new commander's main objectives, for example, is to return Gabigol's football. This is because the striker is going through a turbulent time at the club, even remaining on reserve for the last 3 games.

Another point is to unite the squad again and make everyone work towards a single objective, as well as showing some of the squad , who now have command and need to respect whoever is in front. Added to this is improving communication between the board and players.

In short, Flamengo should give Tite carte blanche. In this sense, the coach will analyze the squad and probably define its direction for 2024. The fans expect a general reformulation, in addition to the return of good football and titles.

Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
