Rubro Negro is the only club outside Europe to appear in the world Top 15
|
0Nação Rubro Negra continues to take Flamengo in its arms and ensure that the club achieves another significant figure in 2023. The good average attendance in the Brazilian Championship places the club among the main clubs in the world. In the ranking of average attendance around the planet, Mais Querido is the only one from outside Europe in the top 15.
Mais Querido even managed to stay ahead of very traditional clubs. The Anfield stadium, for example, was not as full during Liverpool games as Maracanã on Flamengo days. Capacity is a detail to be highlighted, but Barcelona's Camp Nou has space for almost 100,000 people and was also behind.
Manchester City, current European champion, is only 18th on the list . In other words, one more to be left behind for Rubro Negro. Newcastle, Borussia Monchegladbach are other clubs in the rearview mirror. In front of Flamengo, there are only European giants. Borussia Dortmund, Bayer, United, Milan and Real Madrid are some names.
Rubro Negro is in 15th place. Data from World Football, collected by UOL, also shows that the other Brazilian appears in the Top 30. São Paulo is 30th on the list. But with approximately 10 thousand less on average than Mais Querido. The two clubs are the ones that brought the most fans to the stadiums at Brasileiro 2023.
The numbers only take into account national leagues. In other words, the Flamengo average only says about the Brazilian Championship. The same goes for City in the Premier League, for example, or Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Cups and regional or international tournaments were not counted.

Bruno Henrique takes the lead in Flamengo's attack after injuries to teammates
|
0With several casualties in the offensive sector, Bruno Henrique, 33 years old, will be the main name in Flamengo's attack in the next matches. The striker, who stands out for his long-standing partnership with Arrascaeta, believes that this harmony will be fundamental for the team to maintain its good performance in the competitions it competes in, such as the Brazilian Championship, the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil.
"We are the players at the front. Arrascaeta is a classic midfielder, who knows how to create plays and finish. Being close to him increases the chances of scoring and assisting. With his quality and the more than six years we have played together, we understand each other just by looking at each other", stated Bruno Henrique in an interview with ESPN.
Flamengo will no longer have Pedro and Everton Cebolinha until the end of the season. Furthermore, Michael and Luiz Araújo are only expected to return to the pitch in the final stretch of 2024. Gabigol, who also faces physical problems, has been used less frequently. With this series of absences, the leading role falls to Bruno Henrique, who has the mission of leading the red and black attack at a decisive moment of the season.
To make up the offensive sector, Mais Querido also has newcomers Gonzalo Plata and Carlinhos, as well as young promises from the club's youth categories. Despite the losses, the expectation is that Bruno Henrique's experience and quality will be enough to keep the team competitive in competitions.
